Why arent some more swedish people interested in LBA?!? I hate that, I must be the only big LBA fan :( except the guy who lives in our nabourhood :) but he's dad is from america lol. Hmm then he is only half swede  , damn back where we started... :P

I guess it's just pure coincidence....

But I really want to see the ol' Adeline's reaction when they found out that the most die-hard LBA fans are dutch
(note: French think that all Dutch youth uses drugs ocasionly)

Simon
2000-11-25, 22:26
hmm arent that true,Dutch youth uses drugs ocasionly? kidding
lol, nobody in French likes the games! :)

You from Germany or Holland?

Atresica
2000-11-25, 22:32
Holland, near the boarder of Germany.

Trust me, that we don't jamm about softdrugs use doesn't mean we use it constandly.

Also you don't have to forget that in the Netherlands harddrugs is just as illigal as anywhere els.

Pretty cool, everytime when you say you're from Holland people immediatly say "Aaah! Drugs!" or "Saying fuck on TV!" :) Sometimes pretty annoying, though...

I don't know why so many LBA fans come from Holland... They haven't promoted it extra over here or something. Nah, I don't have a f:):):)ing clue.

Simon
2000-11-26, 11:21
thats because you deutch people know what good games are! Hmm im maybe ein deutch too.. :)

wacko
2000-11-26, 11:26
I've seen one German fan page, it was on El's LBAWLD at the links... But I don't think any Germans are at this MB.

BTW it's Dutch, not Deutch :)

When you say your from the Netherlands most people don't have a glue, when you say "Amsterdam" then they know where the Netherlands is :/
Also always the same shit like: drug, booze, sex, ...
the Netherlands is more that Amsterdam...

2000-11-26, 12:38

I never liked foul language. I don't care if that makes me a lower being compared with the rest of you, but I just never liked it. And the only reason why I sometimes do, is becuase well after hearing it 10506789 times one has to. You see cussing just doesn't get you, or proves anything. And that would be a fact.

When you say you're from holland I think "calm and boring life with people walking with big wood shoes and drink a lot of milk"
but that's just what I think... :D I don't know anything about holland.

I don't know anything either about Holland. When I hear it I think about a place were everybody got woodshoes as Ido said but they don't drink milk, its beer ;)

For me, Amsterdam sounds like a rich place. Nice big wood houses and friendly people lol.
And I guess I was wrong, all people here from holland are mean and stupid...like the swedes..
I don't really mean that

Atresica

You know, funny is is that in the Netherlands (I prefere the NL because Holland is only a province of The NL) They (people in the western provinces (Holland)) think that we (south east but also the whole eastern provinces) are only farmers or something and that we speak stupid dutch while in my oppinion their way of speaking dutch is really ugly (they chuw on they R).....

Hmm what do I think of Israel and Sweden.....
I don't really know about those countries too (of Israel more but that because....you know)

Simon
2000-11-29, 16:49
Nobody really knows about sweden ;)
I mean like when wen we went to Spain and let the guys check our pass they tried to be friendly and said, "How is it having polarbears on the street?" (try to say that with an Spain accent)
They think Sweden are Schweitz! (or however that is spelled)
Well I like sweden, not much crime and a good nature and only 9 millions people to talk with so that's why im here, spending my time writning in this forum! :D

Ok, there seems to be a bit of confusion about what people in Holland are like. Here's the *absolute truth*:-

Everbody in Holland wears wooden clogs, smokes dope, lives in a windmill, watches porn 24/7, only get around on bicycles, cultivate tulips and only listens to folk-songs, ...I don't think anybody will have any objections to this, will they? :P

btw - here's the homepage of every Dutch persons browser http://www.klompenmuseum.nl/ - "The biggest wooden shoe museum in the world".

LOL, WebSeed :D
OK, on to the English guys ;)

They drink tea every day at 3pm, talking with an excellent English accent and a stiff upperlip...
They adore their queen and the rest of her family...
They only drink tea and dark beer :)

Damn, I can't think of more :(
:D

Atresica
2000-11-29, 19:53
The only way they travel is with Dubbledek busses or old timers.
All the guys have of those RAF moustages and they wear tight 19th centry smokings.
In London is only the Big Bam, The Tower, The Palace and a couple of old (18th & 19th centry) houses and musea.

Enough?

wacko
2000-11-29, 20:39
They wear black smokings with a black, round hat and walk around with a stick...

That is very very very true :)

What the hell are "black smokings"? People in England certainly don't wear them and I wasn't even aware that that was a stereotype.

So, what's your stereotypical image of australians...
I'd actually like to know...
Anyway, here's a list of australian attributes
These arn't very funny and, unfortunatly, are very true...
Australian males:

Hates british people, because they drink their beer warm
Drinks cold beer. Icy cold. You know, dripping with moisture and stuff...
Likes the queen, but only because she's 10,000 km away
Thinks that thongs and a singlet is acceptable vening attire...
Says "mate", "bonza" or "shiela" at least four times every minute ...
Hangs corks around their hats without taking them out of thw wine bottle...
Has a hills hoist clothsline and a victa lawnmower in tehir backyard, even if they have no lawn and never wash their clothes...
Extremely tollerant of all races, provided they're white or at leats pale-ish and can speak a moderate amount of english..
Hate intellectuals
Hate homsexuals even though most mens activities involve intimate contact (including, rugby, aussy rules football and in very infrequent cases, golf)
Live in a 3 bedroom brick veneer house in a suburb called something like Syvalia Heights.
Go to the beach every day, even if they live in Alice springs, which is 4,000 km inland...
Throw prawns on the BBQ...
Think that their beer-gut is adequate protection if a car crash occurs...
Say that they hate americans but end up reading their magazines and watching their TV shows...
Drive even when they know that they're really, really pissed...
Light fires in summer even though thet've been told thousands of times that "today is a day of total fire ban"
Bag othe rraces and whinge about how "they're getting preferntial treatment...
Ignore teh fact that australia has no culture and that its a shit place to live in.... (except melbourne, whichis full of richy bitch yuppies and middle class people but is still quite mundane and easy to reside in...)

Simon
2000-12-03, 08:30
Well when I think of a guy from Australia, I think of a guy who says kangooripido, mate, spelunking and that stuff. He is dressed like Indiana Jones with that hat and he got a bumerang in his hand. He lives on a farm 50 miles from Sydney, and he eats rats for breakfast.
Maybe Im wrong?
lol
:D

stroof?

When we talk about Australia I think of this joke (which I, of course, don't endorse ;) ):

What's the difference between a yoghurt and Australia?
If you leave a yoghurt alone for a while it develops a culture.

:D Heeheeheehee!

Oi! Watch where you're throwing that bloody boomer-

elmuerte
2000-12-05, 00:24
hahahahaha... but since when did yoghurt break any laws...

Yeah, well you try developing a distictive culture in 100 years while your constantly being influenced by other, older and more sophisticated societies...

Anyway, we have an opera house....

Now thats culture...

Atresica
2000-12-05, 16:45
Geez, an opera house! That's even more culture than the USA!

elmuerte
2000-12-05, 17:04
so you've got an opera house.
I don't like opera, if you had a cool .... uhm... a cool... entertainment complex ...

Kieron
2000-12-05, 23:49
I've been to the Sydney Opera House. They spend loads of the time putting on comedians and stuff. How haute culture is that!

Anyway, since when have you been influenced by "older cultures"? Face it, you're being americanised (that means 'debased') just like the rest of us. America is not an old culture.

Silverfish
2000-12-06, 09:12
Ok, we australia was esentially a little part of britain til 1950, when an influx of immigrants from europe gave it a diverse multicultural society. As such, we're a blend of european, american and asian cultures, which can be seen in our language, fashions, food, art and literature.
We're not exactly classy, but haute culture is fairly pretentious, and the further you stay away from it, the better...
