As the other toppic about how heaven looks exist, then I wanna know this.
There is.. have you read the bible?

Well heaven does exist, there's no doubt. But for everybody heaven is something else. I think you can better define it as 'the thing after death', because some people think they go to a paradise, but others think the reincarnate, and there are people who think that death is just the end and there's nothing more (I'm one of those).
When you die, it's your body that stops working. You think your soul just dissapears as well? It has to go somewhere..

We never proved that we exist, so everything we say or prove is just relative to our little world of understanding.
[my opinion]
I think that we don't want to believe that when we die there will be nothing more. That it's the end.
We just can't think of that. Just like saying "the universe is endless" is hard to believe.
What I think is that there's nothing more after death.
Although it's still cool to think about it......
The brains are nothing more than just some kind of sophisticated chemical reaction (like everything around us) and when we die this chemical reaction will stop.
Souls and things like that are nonsense.

I share a part of your point of view but still I remain a dreamer...
Like "We created god to explane things we don't understand"
is for a great part true... but than again: Everything is relative... so why can't god be a mix of all kinds of chain reactions and why can't our soul be 'just' based on chemical reaction?
We understand so little of our brain, that we can imposseble make a conclusion, let stand alone, say that the soul exists/not exists...
This is a really hard question and I think if I think more about it that my brain will explode...
Another question... Have you imagened that everything was fake, that this was is a big dream and have to wake up?

No, serious... I sometimes do think I'm the only normal person... that everybody else is just faking that they're human. That they're actually aliens or something. That even my friends aren't real, they're just playing it.

I feel the same way sometimes, that everything else isn't even alive, not even aliens, just not there, and it's all made up.

God fucked up, right? He delivered his 10 commandments to moses, which were so draconian that only a hermit that lived in a cave for 45 years, didn't think about sex, killing or stop beleiving in god, and died after constructing a 50 foot tall monument to the heavens, would be able to get to heaven. The other unfortunates, the mercheents who accidently shortchanged a customer, the shepard who stole afew of his neighbours sheep, supposedly went to hell.But hey, it made sense, after all, the god was a vengeful one, raining down fire and destruction. Heaven was for the religious elite...
Conversly, in teh new testement, you only had to beleive in jesus to go to heaven. WHich kinda sucked, since murderers and teh like could say, on their death bed, "we love you, JC", die, and end up in heaven....
So, because of this hypocricicy, heaven can't exist. The very idea is preposterous, it's an attempt to make yourself feel better that your are, or console yourself if things aren't going well..
Anyway, heaven would suck, even though you'd get to meet some angels. Hell would be more interesting (or maybe this planet is hell.) Or, this existence could be just training fo a more important one, all those people who get reincantated are teh ones who need to have another go...
Or, even more shocking, maybe we just die, and thats it...

I agree with you though. I always though that the place we live in now IS hell. Sometimes I think that I messed up in my previous lifetime, so the powers-that-be send me back in time to prevent the same stuff from happening. But alas, there is no way to prove all of these blasing therories(exept that earth is hell), all that is left is just to continue with life and forget the all of the things that the human mind has made us come up with.
Oh... if this place IS hell, I'll just make the best of it 8)
(at least I'm not planning to commit suicide to find out if there is life after death :))
