What's with the nubs dislikeing the video, never played alone in the dark myself but i have heard wonderful thing's about it and now i know why!

I installed it and I'm already stuck in the first room (the one in the video). I fought the monster and now can't find any exit...

I meant it would be great value with just the first game alone.

The followups arnt so good anyway, rushed for a quick buck etc.

The reviews of alone in the dark on game spot rate it as decent in the high mid 70's, so nothing special but a good game netherther the less according to them.

Sure that wasnt the remake?

For its time the original was reviewed a lot better then that I think, although obviously by todays standards it would be lower.

Well by today's standard a lot of games can supprisingly get rated a lot high like lba2 whih sits in the high mid 90's. People with half a brain who writte top notch reviews take it from the stard opf technology avaible at the time and focus on presentation, plot storyines and charecterisation istead.

As for alone in the dark, it may have been a remake but i was the art work on the cover I saw was the origonal, so who knows? I'll go back later to check it out.

Take in mind Gamespot wasn't around by the time Alone In The Dark (1992) came out. Most reviews from that time were only found in real physical magazines, you know...those heavy thingies that are made of paper!! Weird tech of yesteryear

Are you saying they were merely taken out mags which normally give high reviews?

Tbh I trust 9/10 of game spot users to make a critical review baised on the tech at the time which mant have done for lba 1 & 2 for the most part lol, including moi in future for LBA2 and it's remake, which I fera is going to suck eggs.

Now I understand how AITD was make. But u didn't tell never ( I think so), did u make AITD2 and AITD3 too?

He spoke of it in the video, he didn't work on AitD2 and 3, but likes the fact that Infogramme carried on with the same spirit : survival horror and adventure, not just shooting everything in a house.
