Nice.
The PS1 version of LBA works perfectly with an emulator (I tried it on FPse), but it would be great to get a version with better controls.

I'm quite excited about this, especially if they do the same for LBA2. The thought of being able to play my favourite game of all time on the train to work is pretty cool!

Try it out with Dosbox, there's a working copy on the Google Play/Android market website.
I've ran Skyroads in it and it worked perfectly well, haven't tried lba yet.

I tried running LBA on my Samsung Galaxy S2. Both LBA 1 and 2 run but not well - controls are a bit laggy and LBA 2 is a bit choppy.
But you can tinker with the Dosbox settings, so maybe it can run better, but for me it's not very playable at the moment.
