Yeah, tough and large adventure games take 40 hours max, but as for LBA2 I first played that when 8 yrs old and basically no English knowledge, so it took ages

edit: LBA2 is of course one of the easy adventures

whaaaaaa? It took me months as a kid to finish LBA2 for the first time, I kept getting sidetracked and messing around the world
also I remember that at first I was genuinely scared of going into Tralu's cave, the first time I beat that part was with my dad, haha.
It's so odd trying to remember those days, I honestly have no idea how long was the timespan between getting the game and completing it, I only recall it took me a very long time because I was significantly more mature when I finished the game compared to when I began playing. To think that now I can complete LBA2 in an afternoon, makes me wish I could erase the game from my brain and play it like the first time as a kid

It took me a whole year (yes, a year) to finish LBA2 due to the Desert Island rain bug.

That's how I played LBA2 the first time! Didn't realize it wasn't intended to be played in that order :P
I got the blowgun, the balsamina impatiens and only then I went to Tralu's cave and cleared the storm

i think most of us played the game like this. LBA2 took me moths to finish but they would only let me play 2 hours a day :P
