Official LBA1 remake on the way (and an interview with the team)
GOG.com just realeased their interview with the team who created LBA. In that interview they seem to reveal an official LBA1 remake and the possibility of an LBA3 if it is successful!

I think this is great news and am really looking forward to seeing how the remake goes and how true it is to the original!

A remake of LBA1 would be awesome. I hope they stick to the areas with "void" rather than trying to fill in the blanks. Not knowing what's in the next scene really adds to the mystery of the world.

Wow, an LBA1 remake!! OFFICIALLY!!


GOMGOGMZOMGOMG OMZ OMGZ This is the first official LBA announcement from the development team since... 1997? This is the single greatest news item since the MBN was born.

Wow, I wonder how it will look like!! Will they use the PhysX engine? OMG again.

Woot! I wonder what remake here entails. I sort of get the impression its simply an adaptation of the graphics to better suit modern platforms, though who knows.

Also, is this only LBA1?

I hope it isn't just a port with barely anything changed. Wait.. we don't even know the platform they're developing for right?
Hopefully they'll turn it into 3D, that would ask for everything to be revised

This is such good news, I'm speechless. I know LBA3 isn't definite yet but this is by sure the best news the MBN has received since forever. This probably wouldn't have happened without such a great community still playing & enjoying the games. I'm gonna stop now before I break into tears.

Id rather have it left as isometrix - the isometrix has aged well - still looks great today imho.
Higher res sprites and improved 3D and lighting could alone make it look fantastic.
