    Yeah, don't mind it, I do it often

    Also, I had a talk with my father, he is one of the few people in the world who can convince me, because the way we think is surprisingly similar.

    I see what you mean, true, people have more opinion about music than buildings, as such, they don't really care for who built an appartment.
    But about your post, for a musician to sell his music, (s)he needs a publisher, no ?

    No wait... It is totally different, a builder can't build a building alone, and he isn't the one to come up with the idea, right ^^'

    I think the central question is intellectual propriety, can people read a page from a book on a public radio ? What is sure is that they can't play music... You can record a song played on a radio, but you can't download it... All this stuff needs to be re-thought properly...

    "I don't understand what you are saying about the builders, musicians are so to speak the employees of publishers, no ?"

    No.
    First read this:

    http://forum.magicball.net/showpost....5&postcount=62

    Then:
    1. Builders work with salary = stable income. Musicians have to sell their music, and noone knows if people will like it or for how long. Musicians may also not feel inspiried. A builder has guaranteed work that only has to follow logical rules and systems.
    2. Not all musicians are signed to publishers;
    3. People want the building and don't care for the company that built it or the workers who did it. Anyone could do it. But people want music from a SPECIFIC musician, because he is unique, and most times don't even know who their label or publisher is. In fact, it is as if the publisher is working for the musician, if you look it from another angle.

    I can't understand your apparent attraction to bunnies lately - or are you just teasing me?
