French interview of Philippe Vachey

Hello,

I am the creator a French Website dedicated to Video Game Music.
We had the great opportunity to set up an live interview of the compositor of Philippe Vachey, great compositor of Adeline Software.
We haven't translated it yet but soon I hope !
If you can read French, you will find it here:

Can't wait for the translation :)

So as a consequence of that from this moment and onwards I'll dedicate my life to learn the French language. :p

Lupin 2008-10-08 17:21

This is great !!!!
I can translate it if you wish (done that before).

Kitarii 2008-10-08 17:36

Please do Link. :)

Lupin 2008-10-08 17:50

Wow, this interview is so cool !
I'd translate it, but I have to know if Nephandi didn't start making a better translation already.

Nephandi 2008-10-08 18:33

If you want to translate it, go ahead !
We will publish it on the future english section of our website.
Happy you like it.

Oh my god! Oh my god! Vachey's so different from that 1997 vid!

:O That's a lot of text. I can't wait for the translated version!

ME WANT! DO want! LOL. I'm so thrilled!

Just a question Nephandi: When did you do the interview?

Yes, he certainly is - where did his hair go?

Thanks for this interview Nephandi. Can't wait for the translation :D

elmuerte 2008-10-09 17:30

looking at the photo, it's dark outside, so... his hair most likely eaten by a grue

Lightwing 2008-10-09 19:20

Huh, there's a game based on the Immortel's comic book trilogy? What, Philip has done the music for it?

*goes to check it out*

xesf 2008-10-09 22:16

Great interview. Hope to see an English version to understand the text better.

WebSeed 2008-10-12 10:13

Anyone willing or able to translate this (@Link)? I don't really want to do this through Babel Fish as inevitably half of it comes out as nonsense.

Jareth 2008-10-12 13:02

I've tried to translate it via Google Translator, but the translated text is a bit senseless...If you want, I can post it, but it's not very good.

Lupin 2008-10-12 22:53

Don't worry, I'm translating the interview and Nephandi will release it in the upcoming English version of his website. I'll post a news when it's done.

sort of translation

Hi guys i stuck this part of Philip Vachey interview in my mac's translator and this is what it says: (anyways this is just the part which regards LBA 3)
I allow myself to tackle a subject which returns regularly from the exit of LBA 2 I want of course to speak about his continuation Little Big Adventure 3. Are there chances so that it can be done one day?
Little Big Adventure 3, it is not complicated: that will be done can be never or can be in a long time. But like known as Didier (Chanfray): “It is enough to draw on the reel and all is there… ”. There is to only draw on the wire and one has very to make the third LBA.
It is a subject which returns rather regularly from the mouth of Frederic Raynal and yourself. It is seen that you thought all of it…
One spoke about it about many times: one of the major difficulties it is that we left all on different personal projects. It is necessary that one finds one moment common in time and space to do it. One well thus knows oneself one can arrive at a good performance. I am not in the head of Fred, but of my opinion, it thought well there. I have an idea of what the history could give. To the level of the music, I do not say that it is ready but I know what I would like to carry out. One day can be…

there's a lot much to read from the interview though..

Kitarii 2008-10-23 21:55

Link please translate better. :p

Lupin 2008-10-23 22:16

Sorry if I'm a bit slow, I have quite a lot to deal with at the moment. I'm on it though and I think I'll be able to finish it by this week end or the middle of next week. Also, I'll need a native to proof-read it (someone with a musical background would be a plus).

Kitarii 2008-10-23 23:19

I see what you did there.

Neko 2008-10-31 13:38

hmm i wish i knew french.

I know of it, but I don't know it :)

Lupin 2008-10-31 14:05

Guys, I'm really sorry the translation takes me more time than expected (because of this damn internship report I've got to make). I'll do my best to finish it for this week end.
I really need someone to proofread it, anyone ?

Jesse: I'm sure you'll love it !

Kitarii 2008-10-31 19:31

I'll proof read it with you, will you be on MSN tomorrow in the day?
Better if we have one of us from each side of the pond. ;)

Lupin 2008-10-31 20:25

I guess I will by the end of the afternoon. Thanks :)

Aruchi89 2008-11-12 17:57
