Its like the developers want low sales.

The game is by Sony themselves apparently. :stupid:

Darkflame 2008-10-29 18:30

Yeah, Sony clearly thinks the PS3 sales will be boasted by an exclusive game from The Hoff :p

Actualy, I'm pretty sure, like LBP, Sony is only the publisher, not the creator.

Lightwing 2008-10-29 22:29

Has anybody played Fable 2 or Fallout 3?

Both are hyped games with dogs that've been released nearly at the same time.

ChaosFish 2008-10-29 22:55

I sure am gonna play Fallout 3.

Jasiek 2008-10-29 23:07

I've got my hands on Deadspace, will try it today ^^.

On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness, Episode Two

Lightwing 2008-10-31 07:23

It looks really atmospheric. Do you recommend Episode 1?

Darkflame 2008-10-31 15:51

Review it :p

elmuerte 2008-10-31 23:15

if you like episode 1, then episode 2 is for you

either way, you can try the demo

New Wallace and Gromit game from Taletell!!! And looks like it's gonna be Sam & Max style engine-wise. Awesome! (direct link to the trailer)

Oh my god. This looks absolutely awesome.
I also like the way they present the game. "More like AWESOMEPISODE", they just brag about it unashamed, which makes it humorous.
And the graphical style looks very 'free' and fresh. Great

ChaosFish 2009-01-30 17:16

OMGZ Mirror's Edge is out! Remember, Mirror's Edge? That awesome game from EEE 2008? It's out!

Darkflame 2009-01-30 17:20

Yeah, and its not as good as hoped;

Ok, its original, and has a kick-arse style, but I dont like the sounds of it being that repedative :(

(and, yeah, this is the guy that insanely dosnt like Mario Galaxy, so obviously, take it with a pinch of salt. But the games getting less then hoped for reviews everywhere else too)

That looks great though.
Nice they gave a rather plasticine texture to the graphics.

Still, what I really want is a Wallace and Gromit Incredible Machine game :P

ChaosFish 2009-01-30 17:33

I'll give Mirror's Edge a shot anyway. Let's see if the reviewers are right or (as usual) wrong.

Yeah, Wallace should have been TIM's mascot! ...I wonder if in that game you'll control Gromit and Wallace just follows you around. It'll be kinda fitting for a Taletell game don't you think?

Darkflame 2009-01-30 18:18

I'd bet more heavily on charecter switching.

Zerath^ 2009-02-01 20:12

Ive only played the demo of mirrors edge but that was funny as hell! the bad thing about mirrors edge is that it is short (according to critics)

ChaosFish 2009-02-01 20:56

I'll try it very soon and post back first impressions...

Kobold 2009-03-27 15:52

The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks
Looks fine so far. Wii needs more first-party games though.

In other news:
Beyond Good & Evil on Good Old Games!

Darkflame 2009-03-27 16:00

Indeed. Absolute bargin for BG&E there...no DRM either! :)
(Ditto for Sands Of Time)

As for Zelda, its sure to be good, but I think its looking a tad too simerla.
Phantom Hourglass was lovely, but somehow it seems slightly too soon for another first-party one. I had hoped Capcom would step in again to fill the gap, seeing as they did an excelent job on Minish Cap.
Also, while I have nothing against trains as such, I think it looks far too earth-ish in design. Id rather it looked more unique, alternative-tech style. Maybe not even having two tracks, but 1 or 3...something to make it seem more fantasyish.

Kobold 2009-03-27 16:06

Yeah. They have a bit of work to do. The game should have some innovation, at least, to make it really great.

They better provide some cheese with it though.

Rex_Hollywood 2009-03-27 16:09

The new Zelda game looks kind of stupid.
Trains? Seriously.

Jasiek 2009-03-28 00:49

Well the gfx are fabulous, the game idea is weird... at least at first glance. Link and Zelda look like crap though.

Darkflame 2009-03-28 10:50

They look pretty indentical to Phantom Hourglass to me.

Jasiek 2009-03-28 14:55

Yeah, just what I said, crap :P.
