Cool...

Well, I cannot help sory.
:(

Darkflame 2002-12-12 12:29

Sounds Cool :)
Make sure to include abilities to turn off some of those cool features for those with crapy pcs :p

hmz..you can use the Twinsen/Zoe model from LBAball ("idle.x" "walk.x", direct X format).
But its very low poly, and only has a basic walk animation.

Firephoenix 2002-12-12 16:42

I cant wait to see it :)

Well, you could take my house model...400 000 polygons at least....erhm

Well for the characters take some of the RMP maybe, like elves, soldiers...

Reactor can simulate water? i thought it works only with physics and stuff...

kaderoboy 2002-12-13 14:30

Wow, this is looking really promising, can't wait :)

Yeah I thought Reactor simulted soft bodies/blobs etc.?

I don't think there is any properly completed island yet, but you could use my Citadel harbour or Lupin Bourg, but like FP said, these scenes are incredible high poly :P

Darkflame> Speaking of lba ball, you said you'd give me the code for the ball physics you used. You said 'keep pestering me.' :D

Darkflame 2002-12-13 15:05

well, you have too, Im at my parents and dont have the code here.
Pester me in a few weeks :p

Reactor can do water, when you think about it water is the ultimate "softbody" :p

Ok, give me your house model...

Firephoenix 2002-12-13 21:15

You're jocking arent you ? It's not at all finished but already is 400 000+ polygons ! It takes 10 seconds to render whereas there are no effects or evoluated textures at all ! :fool: :p

TheMagicalElephant 2002-12-14 15:24

I'll reduce the polygon count :/

Homeless 2002-12-18 16:23
