3d models?

Hi guys,

just used the model viewer for the first time. 0_0.
There are animations of the robot in lba1?! How come I can see every model in 3d? Does that mean it is possible to make a lba1 remake in 3d, based on the original graphics? Cause that would be....drool.

The models yes, they are almost all 3d, its the landscape that is the problem.
You can extrapolate 3d from isometric sprite tiles to some extent, but you start to make guess's about the shape and it can go a bit wrong.

oh duh ofcourse it is 3d, the models are all 3d in lba too haha

but but...the robot :D

Really ? I checked model viewer out once, but I don't recall the robot doing stuff... What does it do ?

edit : HOLY S**T, IT IS WALKING AND JUMPING !!!!!

Neko 2016-03-16 23:33

I know!
Why did no one shout about it ?

If I remember correctly, they were planning on putting it in game "properly", but it was cut due to time constraints during development so the robot ended up as a static prop in the garage.

Yep that is correct. But I didn't know we could watch it move...and from so close in 3d ;)
