Marcos... the evolution of the idea of the drawing in my head took longer than the process of making the drawing itself. ;)

Well, its good to have ya back, specially because you brought that goodie for us :)

Are you learning some italian words? :p
That reminds me, when are you going back to naples?

Unfortunately, I won't!

I mean, they changed the itinerary so for now only Civittavecchia, Savona and Palermo, regarding Italian cities, if you want to give the meeting a try.
Si si, I am being a passive learner by unwillingly learning by osmosis the italian language, by listening to people around me all the time. :p

Something I did years ago and was laying around with no intention to finish for years so here it is, unfinished.

" Rabbibunny Flower Seller "

There was a time I was interested in the idea of modernizing the GUI for my favorite music software, ModPlug Tracker and re-skin it. In the end I didn't do it, but I've created some interesting stuff in the meantime:

(The idea of this splash screen is to show the sound since its generated in the program to the actual soundwaves your ears will listen)

(Was fun to recreate these classic icons)

Old style GUI I see :) This days everything going into much simpler design.

With Art works you really should work on presentation :P Even if this is rough and not finished stuff you could at least crop image when you posting to hide this torn edge. It would look then a lot better. Now it is just not appealing for viewer at all.

pig-rabbit plush is cute.

You mean, in "Rabbibunny Flower Seller" ? Its on purpose... eh... it adds texture, makes it look more "real" like you can feel the paper. :p:o Not sure others feel the same though.

But I understand it can be unpleasant to most people.

Angelus 2018-02-22 18:58

It would add nice texture if it was nicely removed from holder. But this one is not.
If you wanted to add "real" feel to it you could just put pen next to it or pencil and maybe even eraser.

I mentioning it to you because I got the same tips from professional artists (I'm amateur) this is about respecting your work and people that you show it to. You put effort into making picture so you should also put effort into presenting it.

You made it on plain paper what is already good because I was using grid notebook. But you also most of the time don't want to show: photo with shadow that is visible on picture, that is blurry, that is under angle or looking like you just tear it of from somewhere.

Love the fact that save icons are still floppy disks.

 yep, it's kind of hard though to think of anything else as intuitive as that symbol has become, isn't it?
