MMO's landscape is basicaly 99.9% the exact same stuff.
It might look different, but as far as coding goes fighting one generic enemy ...

Multiplayer mode would work, but it would take far too much effort to make it good.
The whole game would have to be set up with co-operatative puzzle sovleing in mind. A bit like Zelda: Four Swords.
