What do you base that on?
Seeing how the garbage items are all things that exist on earth, It's probable that the intention of the game makers was for us to understand that it came from earth.
And even if it wasn't, it's still a 50/50 chance between twinsunsians being tiny and the q-tips being massive.

Maybe Earth will be in LBA3.

Holy thread revival, Batman!

To be fair, besides the Earth/size implications, I honestly thought it was kind of an homage to Super Mario Bros. 3, with the "Giant" world, with super-sized enemies, blocks, etc.

I think it's called Little Big Adenture because of how open and un-linear it is. You can go out there, battle a Tralu, become a wizard and save two planets, all in a single day. Or you can have a little adventure, (but an adventure none-the-less) and just go and chat to the Weather Wizard.

My opinion, He's having a big adventure, but it's in a small world (If you compare Twinsun, Zeelich and the Emerald Moon to any other landscape like Earth, you'd know what I'm talking about). Plus it's kind of catchy don't you think? Little Big Adventure, I think the irony does it too (am I overanalysing this or what? I'm becoming one of them ) Lol, why don't we ask the guy who came up with the name, Fred doesn't seem to know the answer to it either...

lol ok lets say there was a game called "blue red adventure" and yet the only colour was purple.. would that be the same?

perhaps its neitha big or little and didnt want to call it average adventure because its an awesome game.. So they mix the 2 and let us decide

The game was named for the 1st game. So it's obviously becuase it's 1 guy with nobody to trust on a large adventure.

The team more than likely didn't even think of other planets while developing the first game.

I think the same way man, when you start any of the games you do really "silly" things but a real adventure is waiting for you...

That's one of the main reasons I love LBA

ouhh Fred start working on 3 now!!

See, I wouldn't. I think the further LBA stays away from reality. What drew me to the game was it's eccentricity (as well as the "disney does 1984" mood of the first game), so bringing in Earth would somewhat ruin that for me.

I've no idea why the game was named Little Big Adventure. Possibly to get across the idea that it's a big adventure, while giving it an interesting title and not giving anything away in terms of what happens? The American title ("Relentless") is somewhat more apropriate in some ways (As Twinsen is a relentless dude).

Ofcourse, it may be that like many other elements in the game, the title was ahead of it's time. Lets face it, in a world with WoW, EQ2, NWoD, OWoD, L5R, MGS, etc, LBA holds up fairly well...

Hmmm.....I have often wondered that thing in the LBA games. Is Twinsen and characters small, or are they human sized. Because that room in LBA2 (the dissidents room behind the bookshelf in the souvenir shop on Otringal), has lots of big objects in it. EG: matches, glue, cotton swaps, etc. BUT.....it would make sense that the rabbibunnies were small because the are like rabbits, and kind of like rats to me, but what abour grobos? Aren't they supposed to resemble an elephant? And an elephant is NOT the same size as a rabbit. So what I say is Lba is a cleverly designed but of course made-up world wiith made-up fantasy characters who aren;t real. It is your decision whether they are small or not.

At least the Title makes basic sense. Unlike 'Final Destination 3', which makes 'Final Destination 2' pointless and incorrect, which in turn, makes the original look the same.

Also it is called Little Big Adventure because Twinsen has a Huge adventure, but he and his Planet are tiny. I know this because the actual size of Desert Island is about 1 mile, give or take, yet on the Holomap it covers the entire top of the Northern Hemisphere, which must mean the the Planet Twinsun is nothing more than a MiniPlanet, so the gravity must be very weak therefore to survive the twinsunians must scale down, like their Planet, so everything seems normal. Also if you compare the garbage in the Dissidents Room, then The Twinsunians and Esmers are small.
