Exclamation Help! The LBA articles on Wikipedia are under vandal attacks!

Help! The LBA articles on Wikipedia are under vandal attacks!

Vandals Eik Corell, and Rehevkor, are removing about half of the articles of both LBA 1, and LBA 2! Another person, and I, have tried reverting already, but that doesn't stop them!

People of the Magicball Network Forums, please help protect the articles from further attacks by the two vandals!

Sorry, but I don't see how this Versions table is really useful... Maybe you should instead write a short paragraph that summarizes this information.

what specificaly is the argument?
It looks ok for the lba1 artical at the moment. Whats being removed? I see some discussion about version-lists. I guess "Newer CD version" could be removed, as we have no evidence of that and I really dought it exists.

A table is a far easier way to display this sort of information. To write it out grammatically would be far worse, imo. The extra grammar adds nothing.

Also, documenting release's of stuff is quite important for collectors, or those wishing to preserve games. (or those wishing to know if a version is authentic)

OBras - create your sub-page on your own website, where you show screenshots etc. about the uncommon versions. Then use that site as a reference.

Maybe that would help, so far the side you are trying to defend is empty of arguments. No?

Try to keep ontopic here.
This isnt a war on wikipedia, we just want reliable information about Little Big Adventure to be documented and kept intact.

They do have a fair point about needing references. We should supply those, while simultaneously justifying why preservation of game release data is important.
We shouldn't go into flame-wars, nor accuse people without hard evidence.

Well, I also suggest trying to go over that list piece by piece rather then this "all or nothing" thing.

The "rumored to exist" version can be removed from the table, for example.
And we should do a direct link to the download of the preview version rather then this site. (as that shows it exists more clearly).

Yeah I agree. The list is too speculative and a bit too precice, too. We should only count officially released versions.

Hi! That would be a violation of Wikipedia's rules on self publishes sources.

Please see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikiped...e_and_paper.29

Although I encourage you to move such information to a personal webpage.

Have fun!

I don't think Wikipedia bots are so advanced that they can post in other forums

No, thats just someone going to the bother of loging into to inform us we cant do that.

Unfortuntely, trying to source game versions is like trying to find a source saying that the sky is blue or grass is green.
You can point to it, and give evidence, and its obvious it exists, but trying to find a source is pretty hard.

What I dont get is how they can argue over LBA not having a small list of release datas when other games have massive paragraphs on it
TV show pages often have whole eppisode guides...even fairly obscure ones.
