Patrol robots in LBA1

I just discovered that if you stand completely still they completely ignore you. I know there was a paper in Citadel Island telling citizens to stand still when approached by those patrol robots but I didn't think it applied to Twinsen since he's a fugitive, so I always attacked them. It's crazy how many years it took me to find out something like this.
It's those little details that make me realize how advanced LBA's AI was back in the days, and how much care was put into the game. That's pretty badass.

that's true, but when u change behavior (4 ex. to discreet) it attacks u

Is it even possible to attack them? I think I tried once but got killed pretty soon.

Yeah, you can damage them as soon as you get the magic ball

I would wait to have more magic levels xD

If you start firing at them, due to their hit animation, they won't be able to counter attack (like everyone in this game).

Ye I remember abusing this fact to sneak around in Proxima Island museum (alarm activated), w/o being attacked by them.
