Haven't been around as much as you guys, but after 2006's excitement bubble (When Fred Raynal got knighted and you had that awesome chat with him and stuff) things slowed down a lot, until they got LBA online running and the fake LBA film and all that funny stuff.

I mean, of course, when it comes to actual LBA related news.

At least last year and this one we've seen a resurgence of Fan-art, the Adeline team seems to be getting in contact with each other again, etc.

But I thought all those peaks of general LBA news revitalized this place a bit, since we had newcomers coming in as well as long time regulars.

And this cellphone thingy should help a little bit, I guess.


Edit: When I left last year, it was pretty funny with people like Ratchet and Polaris and all the old dudes as well.

i'm pretty sure polaris is still here, and possibly one of the only few newer members that doesn't have me on their ignore list.

not to be a conspiracy keanu but this possibly might have to do with a few members with resentment against me getting together to inform people that i am literally hitler and generally bitching about me and reek.

i don't really understand the point of people putting others on ignore lists though. why not just, i don't know, not respond to posts you don't like?

edit: i think ratchet died in a car crash

edit 2: reek is right, what i was kind of referring to was the community on a whole. this place used to be a great hang-out spot in its heyday - just enough people to get real conversation going yet it was still a small enough community that you knew everyone and it was kind of like being in a neat little club. and #lba is still like that now. hell, i've probably met more mbners than most of the people here who consider themselves "true lba fans". the social aspect is the thing i miss the most about this place.

wow, that reminds me. i remember a year ago or so twinsan told me he doesn't trust me. he said he's been warned against me or something. some guy told him some bullshit story about me sending nudes of myself to another member or something. he said he didn't remember who told him this but that it might have been darkflame or link.

while we're on the subject, i wonder if the guy in question has the balls to come forward (it's not like i can do anything to him since this is the internet)

I don't see the point on ignoring you either. I was told you were a bitch when I joined the forums, and my first impression of ya wasn't good either, but you just have to know the person a little more...

Hi dudes. Yeah, I still visit pretty often. I have been working a lot recently, so I don't do it on daily basis, but when I turn on my pc I've got that habit to go and check, and every time I'm like "what? still dead?". I remember dead moments in the past, but I don't think they used to be so long. I thought that the upcoming LBA release for iOs and Android was going to spice things up a little, but apparently everyone got bored here. Seems like nobody has got new ideas to resurrect the forums. It's a pity, considering how "old" most of us are, and how long we know each other. It seems the MBN started dying since Double J left, and I can't believe I'm saying this, since Anakin and lipstick stopped being trolls.
Seems like we folks not only got bored of talking about a videogame from 20 years ago, but we can't find anything else to talk about here on the MBN.
