Bullshit. He used the A6 engine (so not the A7, LBAMadness) and had nothing to do with the development of that engine.

Bot13, Quetch wasn't saying Jasiek made the engine, he meant made the game and therefore knew what engine was used to make the game...

yeah lol of course he didn't make the engine how on earth could you interpret it like that ??? anyway, yeah he used A6 and in fact, if I remember well, he told me he had also tried A5 for a while before hand ... anyway the 6.22 and 6.31.4 versions of that engine were the ones which gave us the fever I know I had it cause I was so excited to make games using those, oh boy oh boy

I don't want to sound like an ass or something because it's not that important and we're on the same side here. However it wasn't completely unlogical to misinterpret your sentence. How on earth? Logic and grammar.

it (it)
pronoun
1. pl. they the animal or thing previously mentioned or under discussion: neuter personal pronoun in the third person singular: it is the nominative and objective form, its the possessive, and itself the reflexive and intensive; its is the possessive pronominal adjective

hmm you're 50% right here my grammar was kinda screwed since my post was refering to the "IT" aka "game" but only up inside my head if u know what I mean ... thus this is the reason why the fault is mine here but u also said "logic" ... that my friend, has no question about I mean by pure logic, u could have seen that the "it" I was refering to was the game, since Jasiek only made a game, not an engine anyway, don't worry u don't sound like an ass, it's pure human error from both of us now back on topic

It's not a bad remake thought, I particularly like the boat.

I tested the demo, it runs too slow on my PC, and graphics look too cartoonish.

I just tried the demo too. It turns perfectly on my Quad Core, and looks great. I don't think the art style is any more cartoonish than the spirit of the original game.

well yeah the Conitec engine requirements were kinda high in terms of graphics ... I mean it had a LOT of effects, shaders, bloom, metal FX etc. ... the DarkBasic one was faster regarding this matter but due to the BASIC compiler in its core, the overall CPU load increased ... so up until now, Conitec was slow on the videocard and DarkBasic was slow on the CPU (meaning they both ATE those parts)

Impressive, I must say. After roaming on the Citadel Island, I got that feeling of freedom from LBA2(by that I mean the island is not made with separate scenes like in LBA1) and again the old-school feeling from LBA1. Great work.

By the way, it works perfectly for me (I have C2D E8400 and GeForce 7900 GT). Probably due to the ram I have (4GB after all )

It's too bad it isn't in the shops anymore. I'll try and find out which release this was in, and ask my source if I can have/buy it from him and send it up to you
