[Sheet Music] LBA2 collection

Hi everyone,

It's been a while since my last time on this forum.
A few years ago I had this idea to make piano arrangements of LBA2. Unfortunately, this was not an easy task to do, since my lack of skills at the time and the rich orchestration of the original tracks. So I made one sheet for the track 'Honey B.' and then dropped the idea and moved on.

Now, years later, I picked the idea up again and tried to make a sheet music collection as a tribute to the wonderful music of 'LBA2: Twinsen's Odyssey'.
It’s constructed as a medley, but the pieces can also be played individually.

Here I share the result with you, I hope you will like the nostalgia-trip

Listening to this makes me realize how underrated LBA 2 music really is. I especially didn't notice how sick Zeelich sounds on piano. Thank you.

Good job!

I also played piano the songs of LBA when I was a child, but I have never attempted to write down the music sheets.

I've only listened to the first minute and it's already magical!

Thank you for this early / late Christmas gift.

Too bad I quit piano awhile ago, maybe I should try these anyways.
My posture is still good...

That one was really tricky to write down, especially to make it playable on the piano and to let it keep the same energy as the original. But I'm really glad with the result. It is one of my favorite tunes from the game.

Came here after months of inactivity just to say: THIS IS SUCH A GREAT WORK, BRAVO TO YOU FOR TAKING THE TIME, it is beautiful to see the melodies played and displayed in such a way.

Polaris: "And what is a guitar doing in the middle of an asteroïd anyway?"
sgk: Think of it this way: it's like a message in a bottle. In our world, we put a message inside a bottle to protect it while it travels through the oceans to reach some other island. In other worlds, they put a message inside an asteroid to protect it while it travels through space to reach some other planet. In this case it is a gift, a guitar, rather than just a message.

Wow!! Seriously great job.

I've been trying to accurately (as close as possible) re-create Song of Gabriel for the past few months in FL Studio and have been finding it pretty difficult so I'm really impressed you've done loads of the other pieces as well!
Looking at the crazy time signature changes for the intro for Song of Gabriel now explains why I was having such a hard time working out the tempo and time signature

Now I'm really excited to learn to play some of the other songs on the piano too!

Take a look at my WIP remake:

Nice job, LBA1&2!

Too bad you didn't add the very beginning of the song though - I like the buildup to this part. Either way, well done with the progress you've made.

Thanks!

It's a work in progress, intro isn't finished yet but is being worked on

That is great! I love the sounds you use!
Really looking forward to the finished version!
Keep us posted on the progress

As for the time signatures, I used them as written-out fermata's. I figured it would be the best way to sound close to the original.
