No wall-hit for LBA1 cheat?
I just bought LBA 1 & 2 from GOG and both games run wonderful from the GOG-installers.
Now, I think I asked something similar before, but is there any way to remove the wall-hit damage for LBA1? Hack or cheat?

The only way I know of is with LBAWin... There is an option in it to disable it.
But you know, you'll get used fast, and will avoid hitting walls like a pro !

Yeah, it seems really annoying at first but you get used to it very fast. When I played LBA the first time I ran into every possible wall on citadel island but after I left for the first time to travel to another island I managed to avoid most walls.

It's also possible with FunnyFrog's LBA 1 Windows patch.
By the way, in that LBA 2 documentary video, Fred says something about removing this thing from the second game - less realistic, but more playable.

You... didn't bought the GOG version ?!!
or maybe you just didn't install it  The GOG version is the original game, plus a pre-set version of dosbox.

Hmm. Did a nice find. FunnyFrog's Unofficial LBA1 Windows patch works perfectly fine to run in DOSBox. I used the patch to remove wall hit with the regular DOS-version of LBA and it works! It should work with the GOG-version as well. Gonna try it out tonight. :-)
