Firegem Software: History Lesson

Ever wondered about these things?

1. Where are that strange "Firegem Software" guys came from?
2. What is that "Old Engine" Xakep_INC is talking about all the time?

Here are the answers:
1. "Firegem Software" (Formely known as "Dragon Software") is founded by Xakep_INC(thats me). The first project i ever started in my company was called "Star Wars Simulator", with time few people joined the team and worked together on that project, we almost made a fully working engine, but then was a stupid end of that. Everybody went away, to make their own projects because they wanted to make a super game and such blah blah... I didn't want to continue that project alone, so i decided to work now on a project i planned long ago. "Little Big Adventure 3D".

2. The old engine was a partly completed engine for the "Star Wars Simulator", it was started in BlitzBASIC, and then ported to C++/OpenGL. I attached a screenshot.

here is another screen for ya. i have a pack of them on my PC
that one is not too good, no debug mode. ugly character icon

For the information seekers :

The screen is from a cinematic demo.
the black thingies are done by masks.
the ugly icon can be replaced by a character.

i will not post anymore screens(its the Lba3D forum after all )
