A little question

Hi there.Everyone here,heard that maybe LBA3 will be 100% 3D....
and a lot of poeple is doing 3D fan games that is really difficult...

Well,i'm asking of that, and i know i'm not the only one to think about that..

(I'm not talking that i will made it,i'm just asking)

Why don't everyone (the fan game's creator) just do a LBA in 2D ,like LBA1,the same texture, the same building, the same character (or maybe betters one) online?
The story should be different,or can be the story of LBA1 but in Cooperative?

It should be great !

Jasiek is making a cooperative mode (maybe) for his game.I will love it,but we have to think to make a simple game of LBA1 online....
I know someone who make a GTA online, and just that,by putting a file inside the folder.Maybe we can do it with LBA1 or maybe LBA2...

I'm pretty sure that if LBA3 will ever be made, it will be full 3D.

I know that,it's not what I mean,Fred, maybe other poeple said that LBA3 will be full 3D,but LBA3 is not made yet,so the Fans are sad,so alot of poeple is making FAN GAME of LBA in 3D,to replace LBA3 3D.

But me,I'm asking of a single fan game in 2D,like LBA1,but ONLINE .The same story, but ONLINE ,with maybe a character select or editor. It will be great.
Because if someone make a LBA online full 3D,some poeple will lag and it's not really funny...

I think there was an LBA RPG once - was that SGK - I can't remember. Needless to say most permutations on the theme have been at least attempted but many have been long since abandoned

Greetings Blafards, would you like a piece of firefly tart?

People had that idea before, indeed, and you check the latest news here, in the LBA Online thread, by hobmoblin.

I made a demo game in lba1 style, where you play in Brundle island and you are that clockwork owl of the knartas island in lba2 (dont ask me how he got there ) and you can find screenies, info and all in its webpage: http://www.royworks.bravehost.com/mbnandlba.html

Regards,
Morden SGK

sgk: Think of it this way: it's like a message in a bottle. In our world, we put a message inside a bottle to protect it while it travels through the oceans to reach some other island. In other worlds, they put a message inside an asteroid to protect it while it travels through space to reach some other planet. In this case it is a gift, a guitar, rather than just a message.
