Maybe you could place some lights in ceiling of the garage itself, that way the robot and the machine would get some light.

the machine looks excellent. It actually looks pretty nice in the dark, a bit mysterious. What's it's purpose?
Maybe a bit of a glow from the buttons would be nice. Maybe that would be an overdone in lightning effects all together though

Seriously nice progress. I'll start modeling low-poly textured object again when I'm finished with the RMP stuff in a few days.

It's a saw I'll try with some lights, but I never actually had any progress with making that work.

maybe just a cilinder, without the caps on both sides. Then you make one side bigger than the other, and apply a opacitymap.
That way it looks like some light is coming from the lamp.
Eventually a light with thesame color as the button could be placed in front of it, so it actually has some lightning.

This should be my method, and I know gamestudio supports opacitymaps, so this could be an option.

Yeah, I'm stupid I can just colour the texture, and place a camera oriented sprite, I'll do it in a jiffy.

"The Saw" continues, it now has three camera oriented sprites that give the buttons a nice glow. I'm thinking about making a roof on here, and a light of some sort inside, but I don't really know how will it look like.

I need to retexture the barrels.

Watch out though. Like this you keep refining models and textures, and were still getting nowhere

Seriously, this looks amazing as always. But you should keep in mind to finish everything first before refining things.
It'd be better to have some less detailled models than to not have a finished game at all.

Here's a new screenshot, I think that once I finish doing Citadel, all the other Islands will be a lot easier to do, becouse I'll have all the elements for them finished and ready to use. Sorry for the lack of AA and anisotropic filter .

Uhm... what system requirements has the current demo? My computer crashes when i start it. Perhaps it's just my Pentium II 400 MHz .

The screenshot is awesome! The telepod further in the background irritates me. Is it really supposed to be in that place?

Pentium II 400 mhz is unfortunately too little. This new version will probably have lower requirements, couse it loads faster, and works better, but I strongly doubt it will run on 400 mhz. however, you won't need any fancy new card for it (dx 8.1 only), and 256 ram will 'probably' suffice (at least it does for me).

Card? I have a Radeon 7000 Series.
And I have 640 MB Ram, or did you mean the graphics card (how is it called?)?
Well, it's no real problem, on my mother's PC the demo worked, although with no ground displayed. You are working on this problem, right?

This problem is non existant now . I have a GeForce 4 Titanium 4200 64 mb, and it runs smooth on it, so I don't think any modern cards will have any problems with it.

I finished my work over the pharmacy. All of the models and the textures I made from scratch and only for the LBA1R project. There is possibility to use some or all of them for the LBAx project.
Jasiek, I wait for you to tell me in which format to convert the models and the textures, so you could use them in A6 without problems.

P.S. Please, don`t make me use 3DS.

Very, very cool, thank you very much . However I think you will have to contact Bot13 on converting it to game studio format, he did that with that Robot, and frankly I still don't how he did it .

I have the export plugin for 3ds max, but it`s for max 6 I think. I`m working with 3DS MAX 8 and frankly the plugin doesn`t work well, I can`t export anything.

Hmm, maybe you could send it to Bot13 in .max? And he could convert it ?
Or maybe we can wait until like 18.00 today, it's 15.25 now, becouse at 17.00 i'm going to buy an extra piece of ram, so maybe I wil be able to run 3DSmax properly then(it's 7 I think), and try to convert it ?

The whole pharmacy looks absolutely amazing.
