The_full_mail-text_and_header_is_attached!"

"Dear Sir/Madam,

we have logged your IP-address on more than 30 illegal Websites.

Important:
Please answer our questions!
The list of questions are attached.

Yours faithfully,

For some reason I get a spam email written in Chinese every 5 minutes for the past few months. Most of it Gimail recognize as spam though... I never actually read any of it or any other spam so I don't know if any of it is funny

I got 3 of those IP Logged emails. Dunno how they got my IP Address from illegal websites, unless the MBN, GamingW and Animal Crossing Community are illegal sites.

Actually this isn't spam, it is a real virus (called Sober.X):

Not a virus from your PC though. The virus is in the actual email.

Heh, yeah, I get those too... Here's one I got from "eBay", I think it might have been a phising thing.

aven't received any of these.

I usually get a lot of Polish, Portuguese and Brazilian spam. I'm getting special offers "because I'm a member" from Nazwa.pl, although the only two Polish things I'm registered on, are Prv.pl and some Polish Ring Forum.

However, I sometimes also get Japanese(!) spam, from unknown origins.

And of course, the most spam I get is U.S. spam, which is basically standard spam. Most of it has obscene stuff, but some tells me to become a cop or join the U.S. army, or other similar shit. E-mails about "checks that could be mine" and "ways to escape U.S. tax" are also very common in my Spambox.

I get phony stock quotes/listings that tell you about the "seicRet knew IPO guareantied to boost youer ernings!"

Or, I get lovely messages about "cheep 101 pirecent confedenental viagra cialis levitra"

And yes, those were actually quoted out of the emails.

All the while I was thinking... I don't have an eBay account.
I was thinking that the punctuation and spelling were both shite; something which eBay would perfect before sending out an email.

It's very easy to identify spam, and poor spellings/grammar is the best giveaway usually...

I once got a hilariously unprofessional email trying to convince me that hotmail's way of checking that your account was active was if you sent this email to 10 people. (In the days before I abandonned hotmail altogether for its direness.)

I may be able to find a copy I saved of it at some point, but it's not on this computer.
