Actually, I'm not very fond of anime either, but well... This movie is rated 8.5 at IMDb, so it can't be that bad I guess...

Studio Ghlibi is the exception to that rule, 90% of their stuff is excelent.

Spritied Away and Howls Moving Castle especialy.

Normaly DVDs of their stuff is expensive, but recently it seems the stores have actualy got a clue and they are sane prices, at least in the UK.
HMV is saleing loads of their stuff for £8-10, and Virgin for £14 each. (but more of a selection)
Very good value really indeed,imo.
Their animations are mostly longer and more epic then western ones too. Feels more like a proper film.

The only thing I noticed with Ghlibi is they have a weird running theme of
a) Bizare flying machines
b) Cleaning

And almost victorian cities .

Kikis Delivery service was cool
My Neighbour Totoro was awesome!
Laputaw was also very good (sounds like the spanish word... La puta...)

I don't think I've watched a single movie by Ghibli that I didn't liked.

Yup. Another theme is old women who seem evil at first but turn out nice in the end.

Its a longshot, but Im still hopeing they have something like "Dasher" for text entry...it would work so well

Also, now theres confirmation that the Wii can play movies off SD cards, I'm wondering if they will have a movie-channel, or at least a trailer channel.

Photochannel plays both music and movies. Maybe they'll change it to media channel?

Oh and that Dasher thing is very smart. But it required some time to understand. Otherwise it was very easy to use. I think a normal onscreen keyboard would be easier to understand immediatly for most people, but a little more clunkly.

No no no, a good ending is when Good and Love prevails, main heroes get to live happily ever after - there never was a better ending to a story then "They lived happily ever after", that's what stories are for, to create a better reality where everything is possible, anyways that's a classical story, wich I like. It's super naive, very unrealistic and totally cool.

It will take people time to get used too, but its far faster in the long run, so it would be nice as an option.

I actually like bad endings. It's more surprising and refreshing.
Terminator 3 was nothing special, but I simply loved how they ended it.

Bad endings suck on tv shows though... when you get to know the characters for a long term.

Terminator didn't actually had a bad ending, it just wanted to show that the future is not changable or something.

Now, making a bad ending is the easiest way to surprise the viewers... (let's just kill them all, that will fuck up with the fans...)
Making a good ending that rocks and is not cliche, and still surprises people - that's true art (more like craftsmanship... whatever).
