Oh yes, movies I've seen on a plane:

Torque -- bad. The Fast and The Furious - cars + motorcycles + Ice Cube = *cries*. Awkward oneliners and the story is a mess, way too much they want to put in one movie. The "cool shots" must have brought people to want to watch this or something.

Along Came Polly -- Yeah, yeah. Ok'ish, nothing new. What Snap said.

Girl with a Pearl Earring -- Something your mother would enjoy Movie about the Dutch painter Vermeer and especially his painting called like the movie, and the girl posing in it. Was nice to watch, but pretty dull.

Fifty First Dates -- Drew Barrymore Adam Sandler . Still cute.

...and some Japanese movie of which I don't remember the name, about the life of a guide dog.

I liked Fifty First Dates a lot. Drew Berrymore is awesome. I saw Peter Pan recently (it was actually not horrible) and I plan to see Secret Window this weekend. It's with Johnny Depp and John Turturro.

Bille August´s House Of The Spirits

I saw it at the cinema the 25th December 1993 with my mother, my sister, and some family members.
But this version I recorded on video was not including the opening narration by Jeremy Irons, and some other few things, as something that I remember with a severed head.

Shaun of the Dead -- Saw it finally, Darkflame suggested to me a few weeks (?) ago and also a while back again in this topic... well, I liked it a lot dry British humour, but also pretty artistic scenes. Very nice characters. A great comedy in which the "funny-ness" isn't forced upon the viewer (unlike any random teen movie), as I've seen before in The Big Lebowski, which would be a great recommendation if you liked this movie.

Wacko ~ You might also like to look up "SPACED" sometime, thats the TV series the SotD people made first.
Its a sitcom with pretty much the same humour, only packed with a lot more film referances. (weirdly, dispite being a tv sitcom the camera work makes it look like a movie)

~*SDX's Concise Movie Reviews!1*~

Okay, let's remember:

I, Robot
It was alright. I guess you could see it if there's nothing else on. (It kind of tries to appeal to the action crowd and the deep sci-fi crowd at the same time and kind of fails)

Garden State
Probably not easy to find, but I thought it was a great film, really funny. :>

Spiderman 2
Good stuff. On a par with the first.

Shrek 2
Pretty cool. Watch it if you loved the first, I guess.

Mean Girls
Funny. Worth seeing, even if it doesn't look it. (\m/Tina Fey\m/)

13, Going On 30
Eww. No. I saw this on the 'plane because I had nothing better to do, and... yeah. No. Unless you're a thirteen-year-old girl or something. >_>

The Punisher
I only saw half of it, but if you like cheesy action this is probably the one for you.

I was watching "Gods and Generals" earlier today, but I haven't gotten through more than the first hour. A bit disappointing, as it is clearly Ted Turner's southern-liberal-bias behind this film, as it revolves solely around the Confederate point of view of the American civil war. A tragedy itself, nonetheless, but you can tell Turner is behind the flick.

Anyways, considering my aficianado status in the "gangster" genre (), try something a little more hardcore like "Goodfellas."

Ok:

She's All That - Not as bad as i thought it was. nothing amazing though.

Garfield - Cute. But more directed for children. Don't expect to find the sweet irony from the comics there.

Finding Nemo: Funny and enjoyable, a good watch.

Master & Commander: Um...not bad.

Amadeus (1984) - Nice, worth watching.

King Arthur: Not very interesting or captivating. Not worth going to the cinema for.

Chronicles of Riddick: Not bad! the acting can get a little stupid at times, it's not exactly the intellectual's movie, but it is interesting and quite exciting at times.

I think that's it.

Interstella 5555: The 5tory of the 5ecret 5tar 5ystem
Cute movie, but I think a lot of people would break before finishing to watch it.
It's anime with no talking, only Daft Punk's album, Discovery, playing. Tells the story of a band in an alien planet that gets kidnapped by some music producer from Earth. He makes them looks human and forces them to produce hits for him. So they try to run away, and...stuff happens.
3.5/5

Bourne Identity
Seen it for the first time this morning. It tells about a guy that wakes up, not remembering anything, and he only knows that he was shot in the back for some reason. But appearantly he has fancy secret agent skills, and with the help of a German (?) woman they look for the truth. I must say I quite enjoyed it. 4/5

Dogma
How to describe it? Hmm...a woman is sent to stop 2 angels that are about to end existence...? Bah, you probably all saw it anyway. 4/5

Naaaah.

Well, a matter of opinion, but it's definetly not fucked up.
There are far more extreme cases.
