Streg: Cool gameplay? Really? There's no way that gameplay can get anywhere near the definition of "cool". The original idea behind it might be nice, four buttons to control four different body parts, but in practice they completely screw it up. Hands can only be used to punch and push, legs only run and jump, face only look around, and what's that fourth thing anyway, "mend in"? Come on. What's the point?

I'm sure there were many games that were better than this in 2008. One example is Penumbra: Black Plague, but since it's a sequel maybe it wouldn't be fair for it to be game of the year. But there must be other ones. Better just pick a game from Newgrounds and call it "game of the year" than give the honors to this abomination...

Darkf: That video is of the PC version. Yes, even the menus are retarded. Still there's always Alt+F4.

I didn't find a game named Cyrostatus, and Google "Did you mean?" didn't help.

Ah yes that one.

Now playing Armadillo Run - A "The Incredible Machine" type game. Super ugly graphics, but I like the game.

Ghostbusters, Pretty hard but those graphics are fucking gorgeous, like almost comparable to crysis, almost.

Jak II.
On one hand I hate some issues in it that make me want to scream at the TV, on the other hand I loved Jak & Daxter and I still want to see how the story evolves.

Anyone tried the DS Ghostbusters game......I wouldnt normaly go for a brandname portable game, but someone discribed it as;

Quote:
It's pretty much a direct cross between the first 8-bit Ghostbusters game (drive around a city to get to missions, busting in Ecto1 as you go), X-Com (salvaging and researching tech to be used in the missions), Cannon Fodder (go here, shoot there movement and squad splitting mechanics) and, most surprisingly, Etrian Odyssey (a basic skill tree that allows you to customise characters and is surprisingly funny).
Which actualy sounds just my sort of game.

Talking about Ghostbusters, I just found out there's a successful fan sequel: Return of the Ghostbusters, and the Angry Nintendo Nerd has a part in it! I must see this movie.

I'll also check out the game sometime.

Not played it. But X-com, Cannon Fodder with RPG elements sounded great.

Ghostbusters for the PC
Excellent game, it's a true sequel to the movies, and better yet, you're part of the whole story. There are some kinks in the engine, but the game itself is awesome.

Prototype.
Very fun game, I must say. It's cool to be a massive-destruction weapon, using other people for a disguise and cutting everything around to pieces. It's a must-have!

It's really worth buying. I bought it about 4 days ago and now I've almost finished it on Easy. The cool thing is that after finishing you can start the same difficulty in a New Game+ (instead of New Game), where you just start the game from the beginning, but with every upgrade you had while finishing the game.

Advance Wars Dual Strike - After playing the game for about a day I can say that it definitely will provide lots of hours of gameplay. It's well done.

Terranigma - I finally got the proper cartridge for this game. It's just that awesome that not owning it when owning a Super Nintendo doesn't do your console justice.

Spider Solitaire, it has a nonexistent storyline, but at least its nonstop card action.

As long as it isnt as bad as trying to play co-op with shadowgrounds (their previous game). Controlls worked -ok-, after a fashion, but very unintuitive and problem-filled setting it up.
