I've finished Professor Layton and the Curious Village two days ago! I only have some additional puzzles to solve, and yet to fully decorate the rooms. Classy game looking forward to the sequel which should be out soon...?

This game also marks my 10th game for DS I have finished. It's a good value device!

I haven't picked up the first Layton game yet. Should I get it now? Or should I wait for the second game?

Btw, I've heard that Layton 2 will have German voiceovers. I don't want to revive the debate we already had about localization pro and contra, but I have to point out that just about no other DS game ever has German voiceovers yet. Sounds like they're on a big budget for this game. I didn't expect that, did Layton 1 sell good?

I can't really connect to it. Over here the judge has all the decision power. What you do in the game is more like what should be the job of the police.

I already played all of them except for Color Cross. Is that available cheap?

Layton is also surprisingly cheap on amazon.co.uk even considernig the £5 delivery cost. Maybe I pick up both games.

amazon.de:
Layton - 33€
Color Cross - 30€
63€

amazon.co.uk
Layton - £18
Colour Cross - £10
£28 + £6 delivery = £34 = 39€

Is it only me or should I import all games from there?

I just played the Colour Cross demo and I loved it. What are the differences in the DS version?

Colour Cross - not bad, not bad at all. What annoys me that the stylus isn't as accurate as a mouse and I often touch a neighbouring space I didn't want to and lose a lot of points.

Layton - The game is awesome. What's not quite that awesome is that I got a little electric shock when touching a certain area of my touch screen - turns out that there's a scratch in there. My DS is barely a year old, so I hope I'll be able to trade this one in without a problem.

If its actually got a short circuit there, you shouldn't have any problems getting it replaced.

A puzzle game, it's ok. Not very frustrating so far.

Ben There, Dan That http://www.zombie-cow.com/?page_id=17
Classic adventure game, quite funny.

Time Gentlemen, Please! http://www.zombie-cow.com/?page_id=559
The sequel to BTDT, it's better, but also more difficult.

Played + finished those myself.
Like you said, Time Gentlemen, Please! is the best one. I enjoyed playing a classic adventure game again, with a lot of items to work with.

Almost finished Ben There Dan That (I think), it's better than I expected. I especially like Spoiler:
Ben's murderous rampage.
