Not sure Wiihacking would help, if the server use's IP restrictions.
Maybe a proxi would do it

I get even more bored after playing flash-games, I really can't understand what people find in those.
Because some of them are really good?
Saying flash games are boring is like saying "games coded in C++ are boring". Its just silly.
Games can bore you. Game genres can bore you. But what the thing the game is made in is irrelevant.

Try Shift if you want something a bit more brains-on;

Oh how about something more like a adventure game?;

http://machinarium.net/demo/

You honestly cant see what people find appealing in that game?

Wouldn't playing the American game in Europe connect you to the American server?

It will certainly try too. But if that American serve runs an IP check it could tell your not in that country
(much like how the iPlayer doesn't work outside the uk)

Enigmata's nice, though it gets boring that you find yourself just repeatedly going through old waves to be able to gain money, upgrade and defeat the final boss. Still overall it was fun.

Talking about Newgrounds - I wanna be the flash game
Finished it the first time with 200+ deaths and ~2 hours of gameplay. Then I played it again for the 30 minutes medal, and I managed to pull it off with ~40 deaths and in 15-20 minutes. This shows that even though the game is hard/frustrating, it's just a matter of figuring out the trick. This is what made it one of the most interesting platform games I've played in ages.

I'll give that a go

Thing with Enigmata, I couldn't help but think how cool it would be to put it in a massive 2D explorable area of space, and give it a bit of a zelda/metroid esq progression.

Seems like an odd mix but I think it could work.
Some barriers in space you need certain weapons to get past. Or a clocking device to sneak past. Or a teleporter upgrade to port too etc.
Have a space shooter/exploration game with a few puzzles here and there too.
(I'm sure you could do some cool gameplay stuff with a tractor beam)

How could I use a proxy for my router if that's the case?

There is lies a really annoying bit;
a) Its bloody hard to find a good US proxi for free with decent speeds. Often the free proxi's are only good for webbrowseing.

b) You might have to to run your Wii ver a network cable to your pc, and use the pcs internet sharing and then put your pc to use a proxi.
Some routers should be able to use a proxi directly. But Ive never tried to do this so cant give advice

The only time I have messed with this stuff was when trying to get region-restricted webstreams working on my PC. I got US Shows (Hula) to work in the end ver a bit of software called "Hotspot shield". But I never found a generic solution.

My Wii already uses a big long wire that connects to the LAN hub directly behind my PC.

oh, well, that helps then. In that case you need to see if your router can use a proxi itself, or if you need to use internet connection sharing ver your pc.

Anyway;

Immune Attack
- Pretty good game where you control a nanobot inside the human body. Its made as an educational thing, but (unlike just about every "Edutainment" thing I've seen before), this one has gameplay that actually shows you exactly what your being teached.
I think I learnt more playing this for an hour or so then I did during the whole of my biology class's :P

The only downside is theres no save (but there is a cheat for level select). Theres a new version out in a few months I'll probably check out too.

A dude on the Witcher forum says you need to download the Tages driver:
http://www.tagesprotection.com/main....ge=minimum.htm
then you need to install the driver using a compatibility mode with vista sp2.
Then you install the game, and find the witcher.exe file and change it's compatibility mode to vista sp2, check start as administrator, and uncheck turn of visual compositions and turn off desktop composition.
Translated that from Polish, looking for info on the demo still.
Also, it needs DX9, DX10 doesn't have all the libraries from DX9.

That's with the regular edition, the Extended edition apparently works out of the box.

It might be better to... procure the Extended edition, try that out, and then go out and buy it.

I beat the game on Ubuntu btw .

Waiting on DLC for Mass Effect 2, planning to get heavy rain once completed Alan Wake. And demon souls after that, whenever it gets released in the EU.

Anyone who grew up in the 8-bit era owes itself to play Atlus/FROM Software's "3D Dot Game Heroes." It's an homage to Zelda primarily, but it has a ton of other references that the 25+ crowd should get. It's a good game, but even better, it really takes you back to old school games. Highly recommend.

Last game I played...?

Well, LBA2! I have been watching the "Let's play LBA2" series on Youtube and then I felt like playing it again. So I did! And enjoyed it, even though the XP version is much more buggy than the original trough DOSBox... at least I had met new challenges on my way to FunFrock.

Started playing Portal. Perfect. Doesn't notice anything not working with wine.

Still in the prologue though.

What do you mean by prologue ?

I've installed portal prelude (a portal mod), but when I launch it, the main menu pops in for a second, then it quits, any idea what the cause might be ?

By prologue I mean Spoiler:
When you're getting guided by that robot, the learn-to-play part. Think there's like 19 stages something.

Well, I'm far from completing it I guess.

Is that all she is to you? A... robot? The only difference between you two is that she can feel pain.

Also, LbaWinOwns, you probably don't want to read Polaris's spoiler. It's the kinda thing you better find out for yourself.
