I've been playing Mario & Luigi 3: Bowser's Inside Story lately. I'm pleasently surprised. They did really ditch the linearity/plot-holes of Partners in Time, and with Bowser in the mix, they really manage to have great humor. And I'm surprised by all the varieties of game styles they implemented, how well they all fit together. And tons of mini-games!

This game is looking very good indeed.
Perfect. That sounds much more like Superstar Saga

Much improved, yes.

You use the touch-screen, but don't overuse it.
And you use the microphone, but don't overuse it at all.
And holding the DS sideways like a book to fight with Bowser is only done on rare occasions.

The overworld also appears quite open, as far as I have played anyway. Of course, Bowser's insides are more structured, but I can tell you, Mario & Luigi are not limited to being inside him.

Plus, Shroobs were some very lame villains compared to what you get in this game.

In other worlds, they put a message inside an asteroid to protect it while it travels through space to reach some other planet. In this case it is a gift, a guitar, rather than just a message.

I didn't think it was somebody else, I just pointed out that somebody else with that name is much cooler cool. okay okay, I have no freaking idea who that FF character is other than that she ruins all deviantart searches for me.

She's from Mega Man ZX Advent.

Anyhows, I think Metroid Other M releases very soon, I should really get around to finish Prime 3.

TimeSplitters Future Perfect.

Average Fps, nice humour though.

Tales of Legendia, kind of a bad RPG game but at least the music was good.

Minecraft
Played it with friends using Hamachi; its been abit more interesting since Notch fixed signs and chests to work in multiplayer. Still waiting for monsters to work properly in multiplayer though.

Alien Swarm
A completely free game on steam. You have max of 4 people in your party like Left4Dead but if you lack players then there will be no NPCs to take their place and the difficulty doesn't scale based on the players.
I played with 3 players (includes self) and 1 player struggled with the controls.. it was a proper solid game as I played Medic and had to keep switch my alternate weapon alot and time when to use adrenaline.

Monkey Island II: Special Edition is currently offered at a special discount price on Steam, only 5€ for the game, or 7€ for it and Secret of MI, Special Edition.

Tales of Monkey Island, entire season for only $5, only this weekend. You save $30, go get it if you don't have it already!

7.49€ for MI1+2 bundled (4.95 for either one separate), and $4.95 for the new extension game (telltale only charges in dollars, so exchange rates apply) So yes, that's about correct.

The Special Editions also include the original games, of course.

Bought it! (only the two steam-games)

But it will probably take quite a while before I start playing them, let alone finishing them.

Tales of sounds like the bigger bargain though. What is that, 85% off?

Not to put a downer on things, as its a great idea, but its also years overdue and the specs which were once amazing and how standard on most smartphones.

Monkey Island II - Special Edition
Bah, so many things they could have made better. It doesn't feel that great in the SE to be honest... I should play the original game, I think.

I picked up Simon the Sorcerer 5 when I saw it in a store today. Apparently it was released last year, heh! I didn't even notice. Haven't played it yet, still busy with my pirate games, argh! The cover looks like Simon 4, which is a good thing, but the plot involves aliens, which is never good. I wonder how it will be. Can't be much worse than Simon 3D for sure. I hope it has Sordid in it this time.

Dunno about the second MI Special Edition, but I've been trying out the first and most works. The only thing that were flawed in the new features is that the hint-function isn't working, it is giving hints to things I've already done. (Yes, I've begged for hints )

Otherwise I liked it quite much, I for one prefer playing a game like MI with voices. And I think it's prettier with the enhanced graphics. One very well-done feature is the switching between old/new, you can always do it without any problems, even in middle of cut-scenes or in middle of any sentence.

Played the free premature version of minecraft.
I liked it a lot. Lot more too it in the full one player version. Looks promising. And you can now still get it online for cheap.

As it develops he said to raise the prize. And when it stops selling he might give away the source.

So yeah screw fancy graphics. :P I seldom play games but I do like the taste of this one.

Just bought NFS Hot Pursuit. After alot of half-ass NFS games this one actually captures the feeling I had when I played the first 3 games in the series, the cop vs bad guy thingie is really fun. So if anyone buy this for XBox and want to compete just add me (GoofyGott)
