Time Commando through DOSBox, reliving old memories. I don't understand how to save the shortcut straight to the game though -- DOSBox just crashes. Any help?

Kobold: what level are you?
I tried finishing the game one and I got pretty far but near the end it really becomes incredibly hard. nearly impossible without cheating imo. Never got to finishing it because it was simply too damn hard for me. I got to the level after that washing machine boss with that alien woman. I still think it's a great game though. Best Rayman ever.

I beg the differ! The great thing is the violence! Pilling up mass amounts of deab mutilated bodies is the point of the game. Have you tried having the trait Bloody Mess+Power Gloves? You split their bodies in half!

My brother thinks like you. So he convinced me to do the same. I used like three hours completing the second level, because I went through it strategicly. But I found I had a far greater time when I picked up the pace a little by just slaughtering aimlessly.

I don't know its English name, but it's the first level in the Blue Mountains (?). I've done all bosses before, but I tell you, it wasn't easy.
Cheating doesn't help you very much, because in the end you need all the cages to complete the game. And that's nearly impossible to do if you don't have skills.
The continue system sucks. I already had to use one.
But still... it's just great.

Rayman is a timeless classic.

Cyberg: I guess the violence is also nice

Throw your fist at the boulders and they will shatter.
Also, I never used one continue. I keep going back to the first level to collect lives. you can get about 75 of those blue balls at once there I believe so you will have 3 lives in 4 runs.

Rayman 2, 3, M, etc. are just not Rayman anymore...

I think you should just break all these rockes and stand near the toothed wall. Then go back and use super helicopter or something.

My thoughts exactly. They seemed to be totally different worlds, games, whatever. Just using the same main character.

Titan Quest
Fun the in the beginning, but it's getting a bit boring. Once in a while there is some new exciting scenery. But for the rest it's the same stuff over and over and over again.

ps, Assassin: not really possible. mobygames doesn't have a search that is good enough nor does it have a nice way to directly link to games. You might was well enter the original url.

I do that too, but in the Bongo Hill level I had to use one nethertheless. It's so damn long, and I wasn't patient enough.

I think Rayman 2 is still pretty decent.

It was a nice game, but not worthy of the name Rayman.

Rayman 2 is the best part for me, the first one was kinda boring to me, and R2 remains as one of my favourite games, Rayman 3 almost sucked, it had a totally dumb story, no charachter development, and all the charachters where flat, no predefined really bad charachter.

Scrapland ~ Lots of nice things in this game, but it could have been so much more with a bit more effort. In some ways like BG&E, but without the polish or the awe. I might right a more detailed review when i am finnished.

Aww.. Ah well, not that important anyway.

Last game I played is Lotus.
I used to play this a lot when I was young and just started it up on my Win98 computer to kill some time. Lovely game (mainly nostalgia for me though).

Couldn't really finish that game, it had a lof of great concepts, reminded me a bit of Anachronox, but I lost interest in it after some time, it was a bit too repetetive and unfortunately I didn't get really far into the story.

Scrapland is a fun game, really liked it. Some things are a bit repetative, but the story and design are fun.
