LBA2 - Version 2?

Ok, I have been browsing the MBN downloads, sacred carrot, emerald moon base etc.. and the things you can get are truly amazing! Change the text, change the font of the text, story coder, LBArchitect, programs to view all files in hqr's and pack in your own stuff to overwrite, etc. With all this, I'm decided: I'm going to make a completely new version of LBA2. All buildings different. Completely new story. I think its highly possible, if I work hard enough. You people may think I do not know enough! But here, in great britain, we respect intelligence and good spirit! *higher voice* And so.. whether the MBN will support me or not.. I will make this project come true!

*walks off*

Hey, nice to see your enthusiasms in this modifications and also thanks for the compliments

I think choosing LBA2 to make a new version isn't a good choice. Simply because we don't have tools enough to make something really different in LBA2 besides new room designs and some limited scene definitions.

I suggest you to make such thing for LBA1 which are better reversed and well-known. Also you have lots of tools to change it.

Other thing is that you could for example help one of the LBA modification projects, like TGR. Well I don't mean Prequel because we're not accepting more people yet, and maybe TGR have any task for you in this matter.

Anyway, you're free to do what you want and think you could do, this was just an advice of someone who also help developing some of the tools

Lol good idea :P
I can't join LBA Prequel or (I doubt) anything else, as I need a program to do everything for me :P
Also, thanks for your advice - I noticed there were many more tools for LBA1, but I don't have the game :P

You will probably find an easy way to get it.

Unfortunately the main tasks in Prequel are full at the moment, but this doesn't mean, we in future, won't need extra help. At the current stage we have enough people for now.

Anyway, you can still play around and make funny things of this, not necessary make an huge project.

- Plasma: What can you do?

Maybe you can indeed get into the LBA: The Great Rebellion Team. We're still in need of people.

Alex I think you misunderstood El's post, he said you're wrong thinking people don't believe in the Prequel.

Alexfont - I think he meant that it's only your imagination that said that people don't believe in this project.

In other words he say he believe in this project.

Well, in the first place, why should I believe anything?
Does it actually matter if people believe it will ever finished? LBA2 is almost 10 years old and we're still here. Isn't that enough proof for anything?
It doesn't matter if the projects will ever get finished, just that people are working on it and with regular status reports of what (cool) things were accomplished is more than enough for most of us.

You shouldn't believe, I simply ask because all people start to joke about all the names projects, make me feeling that they were "irrelevant".
No it doesn't matter if it will be finished, I simply wanna hear your opinion . And no, it isn't enough proof, I already hear people saying "oh... its just another project which will won't see the day light", thats why I like to hear people opinions even known this opinions won't change anything.
And thanks, its good to know you like to see regular improvements along the time.
This kind of projects aren't only to satisfy the fan community but also to give more abilities to all community to do the same, or at least could play around with some things by themselfs. I'm saying this because I already improve a lot my programs because of this project and also because I won't fans to try out some new things with the games, not only play the game they already know even backwards.

There are no finished LBAprojects that has existed for over 3 weeks I think...

All finished are already finished when the the threads are created. Or the projects suck so bad that they doesn't count.
