Thanks guys.

I'm now currently doing a debug window so we can enable/disable and do other things while playing the game.
This ways I can centralize all the keys and features used to debug the game. I won't need anymore to set all the things by keys, but instead by a in-game like window.

I read it. It's really quite sad that we only have a single C++ programmer on the team. The Engine is really the most important aspect of the project right now. We need more people with C knowledge.

Maybe place advertisments on websites/actual buildings of studies in programming. Lots of people around the age of 20 have lessons in this kind of stuff they want to put into practice and it's around the age of most LBA-fans.

Will have some basic knowledge in the next couple of months, depending on how much lessons I take.

Aye, Alex. If you know anybody that would be interested in that sort of thing, get them to join. Most young aspiring programmers would benefit from this sort of practice. I mean, putting "I helped develop a game engine from scratch" is typically a huge plus on a Resume.

I do have some C++ knowledge, but I'm busy with other things, as you know .

We indeed need more extra hands, but it doesn't seams easy to find. We have a news in the front page in our website for a long time and no one came to help hard on it. But of course, the hope is the last to die.

Sure. Sorry I haven't had much time lately.

Would someone mind taking over my PR duties for a bit? I really am not sure how much time I'll have to keep up with this stuff, at least until I finish my MA work this coming summer...

Got two new members in the team. One of them, Kyuubu, help me trace the bug I had displaying 3D actors. Its now fixed and I can now start working in actors animations.

Are you going to try to get actor animation to work?

Yes, it shouldn't be so difficult now. I'll try to implement it during this week. Animation is the key to make a lot of things in the game. Doing it will open a lot of doors in the engine where we can code.

Wow... To my untrained eyes, it looks like the LBA Prequel is getting close to the playable demos stage!

Thumbs Up Again...

Well, probably none of you (even I ) were expecting news on this project, but here it are.

Yesterday, I try some things on TwinEngine and was figuring out if wasn't better to actually get a working version of it and merge with Prequengine. After look for the code, well, I think it will continue in the same way, doing things from scratch but based in TwinEngine for a better organization.

After that I take a huge look on what I was doing past year (yeah... one year pass uff). It was getting game actors to process animations in scene and it was very buggy.
I take a look on what was missing and finally came with a new version (already commited) that can play the animations well now. This is the first step to get the game running with some interaction.

Still, since I've started asylumengine project, I notice a lot of things are done in the wrong way. The project need some refactoring before starting implementing new things. Anyway, I think this are great news to get working few by few in the project and get at least at TwinEngine stage.
