Stupid google code closing.
I had to also move all my things.
Split them between github and bitbucket so if one of those went too I wouldnt be stuck in the same position again :P

I also use both. Github for public and bitbucket for private.

Its quite advanced. The most important feature missing is the holomap. Also missing menu options and few rendering bugs, but the game its playable.
I know some of the last refactoring broke the game and make the game crash, but maybe its already solved.

It seems like you are 3 people working on this... Who are the others?
How hard do you think it would be to remimplement the engine in javascript/webgl/html5?
Possibly making some tools to convert the data files to a more suitable format?

They are not members of the forum, but liked the project and also the game.

Well, it depends.
If you want to use GL in everything, than it can be more tricky to change the whole code since it's based on the original software rendering.
By keeping the same rendering and just trying to migrate the SDL1 related calls to use webGL then I guess it will be pretty quick.

Looking at some tools, this actually can help: https://github.com/kripken/emscripten
