I've updated with new version of _ocean shader which handles refraction, transparency depends on angle of view. This shader looks really cool if you put detailed ground under water, and 1x1 quads. No maps have such a thing, would be really nice if you design one ...

_glass and _glow should work fine, _sglow is almost ready. I'll use with tree leaves for the moment.

Blender 2.59 has a tree module and can create armatures too, even wind animation. So I added another tree in test folder made with this module. Number of bones can be reduced if using branch sprite instead of leaf sprite, I made a SMD with 25 bones.

I didn`t quite understand what do you mean with the 1x1 maps/quads. Could you explain a bit more?

its the unit of measure, smaller quads would mean lots of tris and bigger quads would mean not enough vertices, the waves would look too segmented

If you look at harbor map, you'll see that ocean has correct mesh size and shape.
However there is nothing under the water, thus the refraction thing is useless, you just dont see the difference. It's only notable if there is some detailed floor under, not a single color floor, or a black background as it is now.

I'm new in this forum, and I'm pretty interesting in this project.
I have strong C programming skills (but I'm not good at C++ programming yet)
I'm also interesting in 3D modelling.
I'm pretty good at web design/developement and I wish to take care of LSA website.

It works perfectly on Fedora 13.
You really did an amazing job. I would never have thought it is possible to get 3d scenes from 2D iso LBA scenes.

I tried it but I had an error message.

./viewer: Exec format error. Wrong Architecture.
I tried to recompile it but its still not working.
I'll try to execute it on seven.

Well, the project needs a nice page. I was thinking to make one myself, but never got the time to start making it. Do you have any skills with flash? I could share my ideas with you (maybe if Jasiek has too), so you won`t start from the 0.

Probably have to create a makefile, because codeblocks dependency generally sucks.

Yes, I`ve got them for a very long time now (actually I said some time ago, here in this thread, that I think to make a web page, but... as you see - I didn`t to this moment :P ). I`ve got enough skills with web design/development, so I could help you.

Don`t worry, if we`re going to use it, it will be only for some eye candy. It won`t be used for something important or for navigation in the site.

Nice to see people cintribute to the project =) Will look forward to see a more nice-looking LSA site, maybe with some updates on the projects status every now and then, screenshots and stuff.
I guess alot of people are interresten in the project, so a nice page for it would be more accessible than this 108 pages long forum thread

Anyway... I vote for no flash as well, I look at MBN/LSA stuff daily on either iPad at home or Galaxy tab at work, and iPad got no Flash support and the Galaxy TabĀ“s Flash is really unstable and sluggish.

Here`s what I was thinking about the site. I`ve attached color schemes too. The main color, used for the scheme generating was the color of Twinsen`s tunic (#3A8EB2). Note that the two "a%" means that these dimensions are equal (now looking at it, it comes to me that it should be in pixels, not %, but whatever, you get it :P ). Same goes for the two "b%".

@GoofyLife: I never thought of making the site in flash, nor I think it`ll be appropriate. The whole thing here is about two (probably) .swf animations for the background. As for the tablets, there always could be made a site optimization for such devices, which will exclude these animations. Everything is in the site planning, so I think that you all act too hastily, without even knowing what my idea is.

I built the linux version and it works, however everything except glow and ocean is black. The Windows version crashes.

I tried to build the linux version and all I get is a Segfault when it starts loading the `` Rabibunny Male Red'' model.

yes, you should see weird things now, but it's because I'm working on rendering passes. You should also see an output button in the menu, which let you choose which pass to output.

I'm planning to consider glowing material transparent, because we said before it's mainly used for windows glowing at night
