I wouldn't say colonialism, I mean I would give them the benefit of the doubt, you can't account for adaptability in every country while making your piece of media.
That being said, the difficulties about localisation in languages with non-gendered pronouns (like Japanese or Hungarian) didn't occur to me, but it's hilarious imo that it's a non-issue in those, while being a huge thing in the US

- Polaris: Japanese does have gendered pronouns, even more so than English, it's just that third-person ones are barely ever used because you more often than not, use people's names and titles + honorifics instead.

And then we come to Slovenian, where third person pronouns, while being gendered, are most often used as shortened clitics, meanwhie even past tenses of verbs are gendered, so to accomodate all the non-binary genders, the language is being mutilated hard with all sorts of ungrammatical constructs involving slashes and/or hyphens.

Of those who've played Starfield, how does it stack up against other similar space-do-everything sims like Star Citizen and No Man's Sky?

On that matter, when is someone going to create a Starfield mod that adds Twinsun, Emerald Moon, Zeelich (with the Undergas!) and all the space saucers (and itinerary tokens) and Baldino's spaceship?
