Let's organize a trip to twinsun, we need to find a space shuttle. Did you ever dream of an esmer UFO landing next to your home ? I did last year, it looked so real, some esmers landed on the sand where there's usually my swimming pool to bring me to twinsun.... Ohhhhhhhh too bad it was just a dream...

Amazing, I had completely missed this post at the time... well it's okay I'm only 4874 days late. WHAT A GREAT JOB, Zerath! This looks super cool. Thanks so much for putting the effort to improve this old drawing from my bro.

I've finally found the original in HI-RES and decided to give it a new go at colouring it. Hope you all like this art from my brother of 2002. Painted in 2023 by me.

Great job with the painting, I never knew you’re good at that type of stuff. Can you also draw well yourself?

I like it At first, I thought you had found some original concept art
There is something innocent and warm about that picture. Thanks for sharing!

Looks really nice indeed ! I like the balance your brother gave between the highly detailed texture and the "empty" spaces.
It somehow reminds me of the drawings Van Gogh did in France.

Still, if I may give a piece of my advice, I think the colors you used also are very highly detailed, (many colors, many gradients) and not enough contrasted maybe --> such as the palmtree, which seems to vanish in the dome of slate)

I thnik you shouldn't be afraid to use more saturated colors in some places.

Thanks pitiflake.

This colouring was done with a mouse, I don't have a stylus/digital pen/tablet thingy, so it was difficult enough and I didn't want to spend more than 1~ hour or so on this. So some compromises were made. But, of course, I could have painted all the flowers, mushrooms, palm tree and other details individually with proper distinct colours. It just would have taken a lot more time and a painstaking job instead of catering to more roughly defined areas only. There might be a reason to revisit this one day and do it with 100% details, but for now I think it is good enough to convey the feelings I've wanted.

Thanks once again.
