Anyone knows if I, as a single user, can pledge more than 1 time using the same Kickstarter account? And if so, is it possible to even make the same pledge twice? Like not just 1x 150EUR pledge and another 1x 399EUR pledge, but for example 2x 399EUR? Thanks!!!

According to : https://help.kickstarter.com/hc/en-u...ore-than-once-

Quote:
t’s only possible to pledge to a project once. Accordingly, backers can only choose one reward tier per pledge. You can, however, change your pledge amount and reward selection for as long as a project is live.

Thanks a lot! But I wonder why, though ... it's a very strange limitation without reason. Maybe someone would want 2 or 3 pledges for himself, or a friend, or his 2 children, etc. Not only would this help the backers get more of what they want, but it would also allow the creators to gather a lot more money for their projects...

Well you could. You'd just have to make another Kickstarter account I suppose. You might be able to use the same credit card twice. Not sure.

Of course I though about that, but the same card issue popped into my head. If all else fails I'll try to apply my Red Card Bugfix on Kickstarter, who knows, maybe it will work :P

I see we're now 3 backers for the 799 pledge. Who's the other one ? Sorry for always asking, but I just wanna have a little list for ourselves in case the project gets the funding and we'll get to go to Lyon as a mini MBN team

Backed the vinyl.

Nostalgic for me because while playing LBA as a kid it was the first time I'd ever really paid attention to the soundtrack of a video game. Usually until then it would drift around in the background of my consciousness. But the soundtrack to LBA opened up something within me.

Just thinking about it now evokes a strong sense of time and place.

Only a couple €100 away - looks like this is actually going to happen!

Good to see you've gone for the €799 pledge Quetch! looking forward to meeting you in Lyon

Same here man!!! Yeah I wasn't sure if I should take the Lyon meeting (as it's a bit far away from where I am), or if I should be greedy and take 2x €399 but the Kickstarter restriction helped me solve my materialistic compulsion of having 2 medallions and 2 music boxes, therefore I went for the full experience

EDIT: we're 5 now with the Lyon trip, yay! Also, we crossed the €25,000 threshold

Hi, i'm so excited about this project

I wish, in the bottom of my heart, that will help the original team to take conscious that LBA 3 is necessary for us and feasible with kickstarter funding for them

I still hesitate about the pledge i want to take, is the €399 amount really reasonable ?
My relationship circle don't understand and are not favorable about this choose but, damn, the second game of the franchise brings me so much emotion, forged softly my personality that it needs this sum ! I think you could understand my excitement

Once again, thanks a lot guys for being there,
Greetings.

Indeed we also hope this will bring us 1 step closer to LBA3. And yes, personally I can relate to what you've said extremely well, LBA2 was made with a different emotional core, it is THE game that introduced me into the LBA world and it will always have that special part in my heart. I like LBA1 also, but it's a lot darker and lacks the magic of LBA2, which again, for me was the bread and butter of the whole thing

nah lba2 was just sunshine happy playground vibe. Nice and friendly world ok.

LBA1 had that magic mysterious deeply profound magical feeling. A beautiful world, tragically in lots of pain.

It's like the temple of Bu: in lba it has this amazing music in the desert, a great underground temple that makes you wonder who is this Bu? you go deeper and deeper...till you finally hear that principal harbor music which makes you realize you are almost near the exit. You transform into the one....! you go from merely saving your wife to trancend into the CHOSEN ONE. The music is at times almost sacred.

And then lba2: they made the temple a playground where you can go for rides.

man, to each his own for me and others as well, the magic came from the positive vibe and lightness of LBA2, while for others it came from the mysterious darkness of LBA1. It ain't a contest, it's just preferences

This is going to sound weird but I only saw links to the Facebook page until now so I didn't even notice the ACTUAL kickstarter page was up.

I am freaking out. Like literally. I want to basically give all my money. This is past me's wet dream. I literally dreamed about something like this as a kid. What the fuck.

But I know I can't just throw in 399 or higher. I wish I could. I'm gonna go for the 150 one as a compromise. Now just need to get a workaround for not owning a credit card (kickstarter really should allow for iDeal payments, get with the program guys...)

Like a couple of years ago in 2012 or so I would have gone for the big one. But now it is indeed 'past me' dream. I think its quite a lot to just fork out 799 for a day hanging out with the team

I'm wrestling with this in my head right now. I definitely can't afford to pay for the 799, and I kind of want to go for the 399 but it's not easy to justify that sort of expenditure. Past me would not have been able to even consider the 399, even a couple of years ago, so I'm really struggling to balance what I want versus what's realistic. Not sure I was expecting the reward values to go quite this high!

I do really want this though, which is what makes it so hard. I can't really believe it's real.

I had an idea.

There's a couple of people who are doing the meet & greet. What if the people who aren't (able to), who still want to show their gratitude, can still do something?

My idea: a document/booklet with short messages of fans all around the world that the meet&greeters can hand over physically to Phil Vachey et al.

I've made a Google Doc.

I was thinking we could make the first page be just small circles with our eyes, as a little inside joke. And I'm wondering if we can find a way to include an in memoriam for our beloved DF, either in the doc or somehow in the CD casing or backer credit page or something. I feel like he needs to be mentioned somewhere.

Are you in? Should I make this a separate thread? Is this a silly idea?

hi Bot13! well as long as u make that thing electronically fit for printing, for sure! I can volunteer to take the final version, print it out and take it with me in France when we'll have the meeting. But otherwise having people send physical photos, etc. for a collage and then mailing the final piece to one of us would be way too much of a hassle in my opinion. So if we make it digital and ready for printing, absolutely!

The pace is not the same as the first 2 days, but its a great achievement and there are still plenty days to go. Hope they manage to succeed in multiple stretched goals.

Darn, someone took back their pledge. This morning I was excited cause we were €15 away from achieving the 1st stretch goal, but now we're back to €32,077 :s I really hope we'll get to unlock at least 1-2 more stretches.
