Wow, you guys had a lot of good ideas. Pretty much everything I would want has been said somewhere.
![]() I think it might be neat if you didn't start with the maximum health, just to make it a bit more interesting, you gain more health in the way you gain magic. And maybe even a little bit of "body armour". But don't go crazy. ![]() |

Writing a proper engine should put a high dependency on Windows only stuff. The JADE engine is already platform safe. * Interesting world physics. Physics used for gameplay, not just for for looking nice. (especialy goes for ball-bouncing)
* Have more point to the behavours...make them effect how Twinsen speaks. * Dont turn it into an RPG. (that is, have different items actualy different, like Zelda, rather then having too many "levels" of items. Or, when items do level they actualy act a bit different like the previous games). * Real time cutscenes. Quote:

I second that too.
Its a shame that dispite the fact our ram and loading speeds increase to allow seamless loading, we always also increase the load so we cant seamless load. Zelda gets very close, I think it keeps two areas in memory at once and hopes between them. Still a noticeable pause during fade in/fade out. Having a completely seamless world in an advantage game with no pause's at all would be fantastic, even if it means sacrificing a few polygons.

alternate endings SUCK big time ... I mean I wanna know that I don't have to find 100/100 gems in order to see the cool ending ... cause it takes to much time to find them all or I have to find a walkthrough or the general idea of double endings sucks in general

What was that game that when you aid civilians you get "angel-status" and when you terrorize for them you get "devil-status", It was Garia or something. Na, not even close to Garia...
Maybe that idea can be good... But that would ruin somethings instead. Like the joy to kill those motherfucking grobos talking that fucking irritating making you so damn pissed off so you attack them but they are fucking invincible and you then get even more fucking pissed of that your magic bar is getti *wakes up*, ehmm... sorry about that ![]()

Yeah, I don't think chosing your path (good or evil) should be an option.
Maybe it might be cool if you start with like maximum magic and a few weapons but then you lose it or something. They could do this by starting the game as Twinsen then changing to Arthur when something happens to Twinsen. Wouldn't make a lot of sense, but I don't think much does. ![]() It's just an idea anyways, I probably won't like it in the not too distant future. |

Multiplayer mode is, imho, totally out of bounds. It would have nothing to do with LBA, and thus, should it not be in an LBA.
