E-mail obfuscation or removal request

Hi all!
I have an issue with my e-mail being used as registration to Alibaba.com and there are lots of people sending inquiries about products that are listed in the account made with my e-mail. So I dealt with this issue, but I don`t want it to happen again, so I ended up tracking where did my e-mail came from. It appears that the leads end up here in this forum, I found that I wrote my e-mail in this post:

and maybe some web crawler took a hold of it. Anyway, I`d like to ask someone who has the privileges to edit this post and remove my e-mail from it, since I can`t do it myself.

Wow... you can get spammed because of something you wrote in 2004 ? How did you track your email address btw ?

Spammers do crawl forums for emails.
Its why forums now auto-convert emails to images;


Of course, they could still be using image recognition as theres not any real distortion to that image.

Probably just googled his address and that post was the only result he got.

I personally believe this edit was completely useless. After all, it's been out there for 10 years now and most probably has been passed around a lot. I think it's already out there in malicious circles so editing it out from this post is going to be completely useless and will instead make it impossible for people to contact you for serious things.
