Mistake in LBA2?

Ok, I'm new in this community (by the way... hi to all! ), so I don't know if this topic has been already discussed, and I'm just too lazy to use the search button... So... Ehm...
I was thinking about LBA and an image came to my mind: Twinsen at the top of Sendell's Well, trying to push back Emerald Moon... You know what I'm talking about! That scene is famous for it's lighting and it's clear blue sky, but... Wait a minute... Clear blue sky? At the North Pole?
Do you remember how the story goes at the beginning of LBA1? It says that the sky is orange in the northern hemisphere...

LBA2 has a shniz load of inconsistancies with the first game.
Like, DinoFly being able to fly across the Hamalayis (although he can in LBA1's intro), or the Twinsen/Zoe statue being in the wrong place.

Hey, why don't we make a list about all the inconsistancies in the games. I think we could come up with a huge number.

The point is that in the final movie of LBA 2, we see him flying over there.

Anyway, in LBA1 Dinofly said that he couldn't fly over the hamalayi because he didn't fly for a long time and this caused him some problems to a shoulder (so I suppose he got rid of those problems before LBA2)...
The italian text of the game says so (yes, I'm from Italy, so forgive me if my english isn't perfect), and since I never played it entirely in english I don't know if the other languages skip this part...
