Sorry, I went into linguistics mode. I didn't actually expect anyone to understand (in fact, I looked up those terms on Wikipedia... *hint*)

The difference between voiced an unvoiced consonants is the difference between v/f, d/t, z/s, b/p, etc. The th in "this", "though", "they" and "the" is voiced, whereas the th in "thin", "thread", "thanks" and "through" is unvoiced. Unfortunately there is no way of disinguishing the two with English spelling.

Oh I see. I didn't find a better example than "this", but yes I pronunce it like "thank".

"it is articulated with the lower lips and the upper teeth." for " labiodental fricative", ok. I didn't found the other one on wikipedia, but I guess it is for the pronunciation of "th" ^^

Put your tongue between your teeth, and do an F(not "af" but more like "fyy") sound. But I guess it's like whistling, or snapping your fingers (can't do both...), you jsut gotta learn it for yourself.

That's the basic difference between "fred" and "thread" you say the last one with your tongue a bit between your teeth.

(No sound like that in Polish too)

I guess "this" or "the" are pronounced like "d", only a bit softer (D with your tongue between your teeth).

Except it's a fricative rather than a plosive (that is, a continuous sound rather than a "stop").

Who cares if it came out or not? It's finished, and therefore it's possible to create a sequel for it

Well, Fred can always play it on his spare time .

I guess he has a lot of that, seeing that he hasn't done much (at least not publicly) in the past 10 years or so.

He manage executive, yes, I see.

But Agartha will probably be dissected and used towards the development of the lba3 engine. At least Fred wont be too far behind with keeping up with greater demand in detail.

Nope, Agartha's engine is a)ancient b)specifically designed for the dreamcast and around its technologies.

Also, all the original team that worked on Agartha and its engine have disperssed making development on it and conversion of it to the pc and/or other platforms impossible according to fred.
Also, i dont think fred wants agartha to come back from the dead without the original team as he made that clear to me.

Thanks for clearing that up.

Do you have any more information about Freds project or if his studio has a website so we can keep an eye on news?

For a minimal amount of information, see here. All he says about it in that interview really is that it's not like anything that's been done before (i.e. a new genre I guess, or way of playing the game). Which sounds pretty exciting.
