That's what I meant, if it's going to be advanced it has very low chances of coming out, still I have to take back that I called it dead, but I think it has low chances of getting released since it's not simple.

Well is there any Fan-game that was complete when it was developed?
Except of "in 10 minutes around Twinsun" which is a real cool game

What is "regular" progress though? I mean, I don't think our project is dead simply because we don't have any screens or a demo (yet)...at least publicly.

You're completely right. The LBA: The Great Rebellion is set between LBA 1, and LBA 2. Oh, and BTW, it's NOT dead. Just today, I was talking about some new ideas for the game with Allindir (our main concept artist).

hey leoboe, u saw my small game cool and thanks for the post anyway I know that when saying DEAD u guys only think of long-time asleep but no, by DEAD I mean that PRACTICALLY the players/fans have nothing to chew on so nobody get offended as even I myself classified my own projects as DEAD

yep so as a definition :

dead project = project which has stopped releasing media materials to the fans, such as demos, screenshots, concept art, etc. for quite a long period. Note: the period varies as people get bored of the last media materials differently so I'd say that as soon as 51% of the target people demand new stuff and the developers are not providing it, the project can be categorized as temporarily dead.

Dead project = not being worked on. What's the problem with that definition?

To help JJ, I must say the Prequel isn't dead . I can confirm I was out of the project for a bit because I was in my last course months and had lots of things to make and accomplish (yeah, the school time its over, at least in some years).

Now, I'm back to the project and already start working on it, still on improving our tools to make this kind of projects easier and possible to make. All the team know we still have some barriers we still didn't find a solution for it, but thats something we all know it will happen when we start this project and something will be done as a solution.

So, for now, you can except new features in the tools, Screen Viewer and Story Coder, and than a proper/different work for the project will be done.

We're working on a demo as we speak. I see no reason why a late 2007 release still is not possible, if we work hard.

Forgive me for sounding like a prick, but you really don't have any idea as to what is going on in the Prequel.

Concentrate on your own project, and we'll worry about ours. Thank you.

Of course I have no idea. It's just funny how OBrasilo constantly finds flaws in the Prequel, and tells them us, not you.

Dino-Fly: I'm part of the LBA: The Great Rebellion project.

I find it funny that a project that, save for a few members that are working on both projects (namely Obras and myself), spends so much time concerned as to what our project is apparently doing wrong. It would suffice to say that both projects would be best served by focusing on their own tasks and work as hard as possible, instead of looking over the shoulders of the other team.

We're planning to release the demo as soon as possible, at the earliest by the end of August, and by the latest sometime in September. We're working hard right now, it just depends on how things go with some IRL stuff with some of the team members.

And no, it will not be a "stuipid short cheese peice of cra*y sh**," you should see some of the bigger changes we're planning, including new player animations and grid designs.

- Double-J: I think the only LBA Prequel Team members that aren't in the LBA: The Great Rebellion Team as well, are alexfont, Zink, LukeNoNumbers, dopey, ChaosFish, Purple Sheep, and SebZ.
The rest of us are in both Teams (and I'm in the LBA: Lupin Island Destiny Team as well, as the Second Project Leader).

My point still remains the same - I don't see why members of the other team should be looking over the shoulder of their counterparts. It isn't beneficial to anyone, and its frustrating when private team matters, which are supposed to be kept in-house, are being told to people who aren't even privy to the original discussions in the first place.

Let's just say I don't like it, shall we?

- Double-J: I can assure you, that no-one is leaking any LBA Prequel Team-only stuff to the LBA: The Great Rebellion Team, and vice-versa, so don't worry - if something is meant to be Team-only, it will stay as such.
