It is explained in the LBA 1 manual how to create an LBA 1 boot disk, but you won't need it for either LBA 1 or 2. For LBA 1, use LBAWin, and for LBA 2, use the patches available. It should run fine.

Come to think about it, it's not so stupid idea back in 1995.

The original MS-DOS probably won't work on new machines.

- ChaosFish: It will work, as long, as you hard disk has at least one FAT16 partition.

- -tuggy: Don't use that patch, use DxWnd instead. It's better - you'll be able to run LBA 2 (only) in a window, but - you won't have to modify the executable file then.

LBA2 does not always work on any new computer with the patches.
Speaking from experience.

Tuggy, you could try using DosBox, or DxWnd as OBrasilo suggests.
I believe they're fairly similar.
Personally DosBox doesn't work for me on my newer computer.
I did make an LBA2 boot disc but I haven't really tested it out properly.
If you want to make a boot disc, just make it manually.
If I can do it anyone can!
