With respect to where Twinsen will be facing after passing through the doors, these are the directions you should take.

Forward, Left, Right, Forward, Left, Forward.

I think. Let me know if it works.

The problem is that there are two arrangements of the rooms in the palace, which are chosen at random. On your way back, you get the other one.

But you would surely use the magicball to crack to window and escape from the final room that way?
And I'm pretty sure it's possible to JSB anywhere.

If you're good enough.

Not in the no weapons challenge.

Interesting.
I suppose it is a special kind of scene, separate from the rest.
It certainly makes less sense than any other part of the game, geographically.

To explain better, the palace is a square...
Yes I've done that in the past, but since then I've worked out the pattern.

But this way you'll definitely meet an enemy. And that's what moodhead is trying to prevent.

Oh yeah, sorry, can't edit the post any more, I better copy & paste it next time. Might be related to the fact that a d at the end of a syllable is generally pronounced [t] in German.

Indeed, if you take the route I've given then the only enemies you will meet are the three pigs.
I suspect it should be possible to JSB the door though.
I'm not sure why you are even going into the palace if you are doing it without weapons.
Supposedly it is possible to jump through the hole in the statue even before it is visible.
Sounds a bit dodgy I guess...

Well the whole point of this little excercise is to abuse all the bugs.
But I still don't think it will be possible to get the fragment piece out unless you fight the hussars and the... thing.

Yes this is true, which was basically my point.
And I think it was Dan (Echomote) that said you could jump into the statue before you could see it, but it was tricky to do.
However, if you don't have any weapons at all, that seems like the only way to do it.

It was proto pack who claimed he got into the invisable statue, if you read the 'no weapons challenge' thread you will see that its impossible jump in
