Nice, but I already played LBA when I was 13

When I reached the fortress island, a friend said 'just wait and see, the game will be MUCH longer'. He was wrong.

Finally! There has been a DOXBox for mac for ages aswell as for Windows, I wonder why they took so long to support they´re games for mac too.

Having bought the game earlier will make u able to get the mac version aswell or do u have to buy it again?

Nope, if you bought it you have the MAC version. If you buy a game at the site, you get MAC and PC version (if available).

EDIT: I checked My Games and I also have the MAC version

And it looks that LBA2 is also available for MAC!

Logged in after ages just to post this news, but looks like I've been anticipated

Both games work beautifully on 10.6.8... my only gripe with the first LBA is that after playing with LBAwin I wasn't used to crash into walls anymore

LbaWin have more difference than this, specially some original engine bugs that has been fixed.

I have most of GOG games on Mac using Boxer. I'm now downloading the GOG versions to see the differences.

Just confirmed the GOG version is using Boxer application as well.
The good thing is that you can now have an out-of-the-box image installation that works instantly without any effort.
I love boxer app so its nice to see GOG using it.

Few issues interpreting the script (I remember been parts duplicated in the original script), some collision bugs, null animations pointers and surely much others. I remember been across of this bugs while doing Prequengine/Twin-e.
Also there some other features like W key, Hit Walls, Joystick, etc. that aren't in the original version.

How can you import windows games (as GOG serves their titles) into Boxer? It's the "install under Windows and copy folder" thing? I'm using Wineskin but it's nowhere as polished as boxer...

It only supports DOS games. Those supporting windows 95/98 you need to use Wine but its not that good.

There is, I'm not sure right now since I'm not on Mac.
Save games are probably on "/Library/Application Support/_GAME_" folder or inside the package itself. If you open the game packege, option "Show Package Contents" it should have a configuration file that points to the save directory.
