[USELESS] Gas Monster

I'm here to tell you guys that the Gas Monster REALLY SCARES ME.

Like, i'm not kidding, it really does, I just can't go close to him, He's way too big and scary, when you kinda HAVE to go close to him in Otringal because there's no other way to go by the ocean but with the jetpack, I just close my eyes and go, cause we can't avoid seeing him that part..

I just wanna know, is anyone else REALLY scared of him, or is it just me?

I guess i'm a pussy. :/

The only thing that scares me about the gas monsters, is that they might bite me at some point and I have to cheat to get my life points up to full again.

But hell no they don't scare me. The gas monsters are stupid and wildly inaccurate. You could even avoid being hit altogether by staying away from the usual attack spots.

The snake/dragon gas monsters are more scary, but you should have seen them in-game lol. They're smaller than all the other gas monsters (to simulate depth)

@Edit

"Smaller" you meant. They're huge, they're small cos they're far :|, as you said, yea to simulate depth :P

Honestly, the only reason I remember that monster was because an old member (Arognlie) used to use it as his avatar.

Am I the only one that thought that one gas monster might be able to talk to Twinsen?

You're talking about the mute and always present example at the Island of the Francos, right? The one that might explain why he ate the burgermaster, and where he hid the fragment, right?

No, you're not the only one. But by common sense, I rejected the thought as well.

Well, I just wanted one to talk to me. But of all the monsters, I expected the one at the Francos to talk to me.

Okay, so did anyone else besides me think that they were all the same monster who just kept stalking Twinsen?

Well, from the "I'm standing still and am not progressing" point of view that I had that is...

Never scared me either, what mildly disturbs me is how Twinsen turns all black and stary when he falls in the dome of the slate.

The dome's content is an omnipresent magical medium, that is also encountered in LBA1 when falling into the Well of Sendell. I believe the Dome of the Slate is some kind of space linked to the magical essence of the planet. This medium must be infinite then, so Twinsen's turning black and starry is I think a reference to becoming lost in this black, starry void.

That is definitely one of the coolest death animations, I thought. Actually, whether Twinsen gets electrified or incinerated, they're also damned cool haha.

One time I managed to get Twinsen to walk around permanent as a skeleton, but it only lasted until I reloaded/changed scenes. *sad face*
