Which LBA do you prefer 1 or 2

Hello everyone i decided to see what your veiw of LBA one and two is so i decided to ask this simple question... Which game do you prefer? 1 or 2 of LBA?

I personally prefer number 2... The graphics just do it for me and it is much easier then number one... Altho there are also some thing that i just love about number 1 like the end movie... But i love the fact that you can leave twinsun on number two... Altho in places it is very challenging...
What do you think?

I agree but in some cases there are the good and bad of both... I still remember when i first got LBA 2 and so did my older brother... i laughed at him because he took 4 weeks to finish it and i took one.... And this from his baby brother realy did peeve him off...

Don't we all!

I like Lba2 more than Lba1 because that's the first one I played.
But I like Lba1 more than Lba2 because it has more of a story.

Yet, Lba3 will whip both their arses!

I dunno why, but I prefer LBA2. I like the atmosphere, and I always liked the idea of the second planet... You were always much freer.

Generally I think people prefer the first game they played. Thus, I prefer LBA2. I think.

Replace the "e" with an "a" and it's the same in English.

I'll say LBA1. It was darker, the plot was better, the graphics were good enough. And the dialogue was significantly less americanised.

And LBA2 was a bit too easy.

LBA2 because it was the first I ever played , and because of a notty bug that didn't allow me to go any further , I explored Desert Island for an year or so , plus the music , the atmosphere , the 3D world , the freedom , Desert Island and the Undergas , make the LBA2 an unique universe ... LBA1 is more dark IMO , especially because Funfrock was terrorising the Planet , because I didn't get to see the sky and light reflections , thus there were no sunny or cloudy days ... kind of sorrow feeling while playing LBA1 ...

I don't know if I can choose one which is my ultimate favourite. For me, they are both a part of a whole, almost like one game together. I don't know if I would have loved LBA as much as I do if there only was one game in the series.

It's true morshem. I remember when I got LBA1, I was only 5, and my dad brought it home for me (just cos he's nice like that ) so I played it through (with a little help ) and it was the coolest thing I'd ever seen. But LBA2 really made it great for me, the whole freedom, the idea that you could travel around all the different planets, even though you were actually fairly limited, there seemed to be good reasons why you couldn't go back to Twinsun for example.

Lba1, I played LBA2 first, fell in love with it, but as I was playing it on my cousins PC I couldn't play it. I bought LBA1 then and played it on my crappy PC, and it was the best game I ever played, I got stuck so many times! And the mood was so awesome, it had something LBA2 couldn't even try to achieve. LBA2 was a happy, joyfull game, while LBA1 was a dark and sad land, everything looked so hopeless, it was THE lba imho.

Ok, i'm back in the forum:

My favourite is LBA 1, because it's the first I played and I share the opinion, that the second game was a bit too cute. Let's all hope that fred will make the best mix in the third game

You people are talking about "Relentless" as if it's Orson Well's "1984."

It wasn't actually all that dark and had plenty of cute moments of its own.
