The hardest part

No. Isn't about Coldplay's songs.

Which is, for you, the hardest part on LBA and LBA2??

You know what I mean, that bit on the story that makes you jump of happiness when you finally complete it...

Dome of the Slate I can run through.
Since I've speedrun LBA2 several times, I don't have much trouble with it...
The casino part usually slows me down, getting 100z is so tedious.
And since I started getting the car bug, then getting that balsam plant is difficult.
Plus it means I have to run everywhere which is long...

And LBA1 I haven't played as much...
Temple of Bu is hard though.
Also the siege in the hamalayi when you forget to disable communications...
D'oh.

Haha! That happened to me when I re-played it the first time! I did it first time on my initial play as well

LBA... Well i didn't knew you could hide for the groboclones (when they come get Zoe) so i needed to find out you could jump your way into the sealed house. That took like ages.
The other thing i found rather frustrating was finding the the syrup. The qeust of finding the syrup didn't come with a question: all Twinsen would keep saying at that point was "Good day, this talk about the Legend is strange, don't you think?" O_o

LBA2... mmm well i didnt know at first what the Gems would look like and where they where -the first time you need to find them for the ferryman. Apart from inside the Dome of the Slate i don't recall much hard parts. Must play lba2 agian sometime soon i guess.

When I played it the first time, I didn't even know about the communications thing. I did it without it.

LBA 1 ~ probably Temple of Bù and the Principal Island harbour.
LBA 2 ~ Island CX. I hate those towers outside.

Isn't it necessary? Otherwise your Rabbibunny partner is pathetic and doesn't take the initiative to kill things and steal the tank and suchlike.

That was the part in LBA1, along with the Temple of Bu, where I got the most stuck. But when the guy said "Don't forget to neutralise the emitter" I had no idea what he was talking about.

In LBA2 I remember my brother and I were stuck for ages and ages searching for the balsam flower. If we'd actually known that you could zoom in on the holomap, that would have helped...

Well, it must have worked, I only found out about the system when playing for the second time.

Kobold is correct. The Rabbibunny is indeed pathetic, and runs around getting himself killed, unless you kill all opposition between him and the tank with him surviving.

The Rabbibunny does indeed eventually steal the tank, but it is very frustrating and difficult to get him to do so.

Indeed, much of LBA1 is like that; far less obvious task list than LBA2.

Really? I never had any trouble with those at all.
Although I always get the protection spell...

I don't think it's neccessary, it's just very difficult.
And through all the times I've played it, I do not remember hearing that quote at all.

LBA2:the hardest part for me ( I was seven years old at the time :P ) was to rescue the lighthousekeeper, I spent almost a year not getting that I could use my magicball and hit that lever behind the barrels , good ol' days!
