Thumbs Down Stolen Music

Not Fair! I knew LBA soundz like the magic ball and other sound effects were just common sound effects used in lots of other games, but I didn't know the LBA music was used too! I was playing Age Of Empires 2 and a song from LBA1 started playing! I thought I must have LBA up and running up on the computer but no!

EDIT:
Ok, make that two songs they've stolen, Gosh theres probably a whole heap of them.....

EDIT:
Oh no wait, I just realised I had the LBA cd in, I took it out and the music stopped, that probably why right?

Hah, yeah I've done that before.
I was gonna say, I've had Age of Empires for years and I know the music pretty well.
Nothing stolen there.

That happened to me a few months ago, I was playing the Joan od Arc campaign, and all of a sudden the LBA2 theme song started playing.

I've my LBA themes in my usual music playlist. So sometimes we're having a great time with rude dudes listening songs like Freak on a Leash by Korn when Honey Bee jump next.

IT's a little bit shocking, consider that my friends don't like too much LBA

Pah- thats nothing. I have, hidden amongst my heavy rock, metal, LBA Soundtrack, 217 Scottish and Irish Folk songs.

Now, Testify (Rage Against The Machine) to Freedom Come All Ye- thats jarring. Yet appropriate.

That happened because the game was trying to play CD Audio tracks from the AOE 2 CD.
LBA 2 and 1 have CD Audio tracks so if you put another cd with tracks like that it will start playing

Well, thats not surprising. Ewan McCol, one of the more important names for Scottish Folk in the 20th century (rivalled only by Hamish Henderson and Alan Lomax) was born in England. Lomax was from Memphis, only Henderson was Scottish- but Hamish was (arguably) only rivalled by Robert Burns in terms of contribution to Scottish folk music (ever, i.e. including times that aren't the 20th century.) Also, the Skye Boat Song was actually written by a guy from Kent and is thus not Scottish at all.

Amusingly, Roy Williamson was born in the North of Englad (little known fact), his claim to fame was writing (and singing the original version of) Flower Of Scotland...

My favorite Dark Island however, would be North Sea Gas' second go in 2003. Tis awesome.

Roy Williamson... Flower of Scotland... The Corries...

Ah, so many memories. I literally grew up listening to the Corries! I really love Scottish music, and I'm not ashamed to admit it!
